Anna's Place — Restaurant in Proviso Township

I came in to eat today with my husband and two children. We were planning to eat at the booth where we ate last week. The food was great so we wanted to come back, we were planning to eat and have a couple drinks, again like we did last week. As we walked in we were greeted by a nice woman, but she immediately told us we can’t sit down with anyone under 21. I asked why and there wasn’t a true answer, which I’m assuming is because there isn’t an answer that will hold up to anything. There are booths in this place that are for people to eat, there are games and a separate bar in most places and kids are never an issue. The girl who turned us away seemed genuinely horrified, and really didn’t have answers or want to tell us the news. She was nice and offered a 10% discount on our food if we carried out. We declined. This place is awesome! I love the atmosphere! Our server Joe was friendly and made us feel at home. We didn't have to ask for anything because he was already ahead of the game. He gave us napkins without asking, extra plates and refilled our drinks even before they were empty. It seems like all their food is homemade and you can definitely taste it! The cream of chicken soup is to die for! Their cheeseburgers and wings are amazing. And last but not least their tiramisu is made by Tony and it's the best I ever had. My only suggestion for this place is to put some nice tables and chairs outside on the side walk. And to get a big screen tv in there instead of just the two medium TVs that...

Great place for food, slots and drinks! If you are going to order food, i recommend a simple appetizer like mozzarella sticks or chicken tenders! You can never go wrong with those! This place is coming along now under the new management. Seems like they got rid of all the bad employees and replaced them with new ones that actually do their job. if you are thinking of giving this place a shot, don't hesitate.
