Dunkin' — Restaurant in Proviso Township

This is one of the nicest Dunkin’s I’ve been to…. I would either come in the morning and or the evening and there are 2 guys there that knows exactly how to make my ice coffee and I leave them tips…. But one morning I came in the drive through line was out the driveway per usual and I decided to walk in it was a young lady there and I asked her did she order she stated yea but it was slow… I stood there exactly 5 mins and when I decided to lean over the counter and ask was there anyone working the front it was a African American Lady she worn a hat and a little on the tall side responded to me it’s someone there but you gone have to wait. I turned around and asked her was she okay because customer service is everything it’s not what you say it’s how you say it she was very snappy until she got told off about herself but then a guy with glasses came and took my order… ppl like her make well known establishments with good customer service look bad… I’ve been in hillside over 20 years and i frequently visit this location because of the customer service but I gave them a 3 because of her attitude and her customer service was not acceptable… but good thing is this doesn’t stop me from going here because of the rapport I have with this location but if I was to see her I’ll request someone...

I decided to try the Oat Latte advertised. After repeating my order twice (unmasked clearly) in my car. My order was taken. Took a while to get it. Was charged extra for the Oat milk. $1 the lady told me.😒 Surprising, since that is not mentioned on the website. OK. I expect it will be good. I live 5 minutes away. I immediately opened at home and didn't see the customary swirl on top. OK. Took a sip and it was less than lukewarm! Are you kidding me! It actually tasted like a regular cup of coffee!🤨 Not one hint of Oat Milk! I have had TONS of Oat Latte's, so I recognize the taste. Needless to say after paying $5.98 for this (remember I said $1 for the oat milk) and 5 donut holes (which were doughy) I am thoroughly disappointed. I should have closed the lid and taken it back. If you don't know what flavor donut you want, I would go to another location. Tried to go to this location twice recently and both times, the lobby has been locked. The drive thru at this location was not planned very well and is not convenient, especially if there is a long line. So sometimes, it's more convenient to go inside. I don't always know what I want and the times I have used the drive thru, they were out of the donut I wanted. If your short staffed, then post a notice on the door as to why your lobby is not open. Don't just lock the door and force everyone to use...
