My husband and I love trying new breakfast places, so we were very excited to check this place out, especially given the great reviews. We came in on a late Sunday morning. We were sat right away at a table with a slightly sticky surface near the entrance. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with chicken and hash browns while my husband ordered the breakfast panini with potatoes. For drinks, we ordered a hot caramel latte and an iced mocha latte. For some flavored lattes, they came with hardly any taste. The “mocha” in my iced latte was just the chocolate drizzle around the inside of the cup, which I had to stir in vigorously with my straw just to get a hint of the flavor. The panini was very bland, dry, and didn’t seem to have much flavor. The salsa in my chilaquiles was promising at first but became a bit off-putting after a few bites. I had to stop eating it because it seemed to upset my stomach. I was also given a very cold and soggy side of potatoes instead of the hash browns I asked for. Needless to say, my husband and I did not finish our meal, and we left extremely disappointed.

We arrived on the 4th of July around noon. While the establishment was somewhat busy, there appeared to be ample seating, as the picture indicates. However, after waiting for approximately twenty minutes, we did not receive any service, such as water or coffee. Other tables also seemed to be seeking attention from the waitstaff, but they were nowhere to be found. It seemed they might have been understaffed. Ultimately, we departed feeling disappointed, upset, and hungry.

My wife and I stopped in on a Friday morning for some breakfast while visiting the Chicago area. It wasn't too terribly busy here; there was plenty of available parking on the street out front. We were seated right away and our server tended to us promptly.

The food didn't take too long to come out and everything we got was delicious. My wife also got a hot chai tea latte and...
