Neveria Arcoiris Melrose Park — Restaurant in Proviso Township

I am a regular here and decided to stop in yesterday. Every time I come the ladies are usually welcoming. Today when I arrived, customers and employees treated my boyfriend and I as if we didn’t belong there. No one greeted us ,but one young lady standing at the door. From the moment we walked in the entire store went silent. Everyone’s eyes were on us in a look of confusion. By the time we were ready to order, the young lady at the door noticed no one attempted to serve us and walked behind the counter. After she took our order, the entire time we waited everyone continued to look at us. The owner proceeded to come from behind the counter to speak with her customers and stared at us as well. I never leave reviews, but the owner and her staff should know how they made us feel. I will mention we are African American and the entire store were Hispanic. I’m actually disgusted that someone complained this place is too far. If you wanna get whine about distance don’t come plain and simple. Another thing. I don’t think people understand the price of running a food establishment. Y’all will easily spend $10 on coffee and some kind of cookie at Starbucks or some other fancy cafe. Try to call more them 10 times and never answer they to put a order no one answer I had to get out drive to the store and see they were just talking and the phone just ring and ring and they don't answer bad customer services. I took my phone and call when I was in side and I was the only person inside and the phone just ring and ring and no one answer I just turn and walk away...
