As I rode past this place, I had a bad feeling about this place. What brought me here was the interesting bacon menu…(beware). When we walked in, it was pleasant and we got a “booth” for two. It was not a booth, but a double two seater that was extremely uncomfortable to sit in. I felt as if I was about to eat dinner on my couch. Absolutely no cushion at all. I had to sit in the middle to feel somewhat comfortable. The waitress was ok, she was kind and friendly. I was between two appetizers on the menu and asked her opinion. It was between the mozzarella bacon and the Italian beef egg rolls. I asked the waitress which one I should choose. I should have notice the signs with her facial expression when she said the egg rolls…(more on that later). The eggs rolls were ok, but the crispy and soggy texture didn’t work for me. I would give it a 2 out of 10. Next for the main dish, fish and chips. The fish was actually pretty good. The fries that came with them were just plain skinny any pre-frozen fries. They were not good at all. They were very dry when they came out. In the mean time, you can hear a person screaming at the top of their lungs to a hockey game (more on this later) the guy was obviously over served. The main reason I came here was because I saw bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks. Being a cheese and bacon lover, I had to try this. This was the ultimate terrible thing I tried in a long time. I mean this this app was extremely bad. First you can tell that the mozzarella sticks were frozen. Second, the bacon was super undercooked and chewy. I actually couldn’t even finish a whole piece of it. I can normally eat anything, but this was just not edible. When I told the waitress about not liking it, she said she had to speak to her manager. The manager then came to our table. He was very nice and friendly. He offered to take the app off our bill. He offered to have it made again without charging me, but it just tasted terrible. I feel like he was very kind and cared about the quality of his restaurants food, but unfortunately, I should have went with my gut when I first asked the waitress which app I should have in the beginning. I felt like when I saw her facial expression, I should have knew to stay away. The drinks were great but BEWARE of the menu. Their menu is misprinted according to the bartender. I ordered a drink that said it was a 16oz but I received a 9oz glass. When I brought it up to the bartender (because there was only one ) she took it personal and was mad that I called it out. As I said above, she said we don’t serve a 16oz over a certain avb, which is fine, but it was printed on the menu. All she said is our menu is misprinted (which is why I said make sure you know what you are paying for). I was served a smaller glass then was printed and no one even said sorry to me about it, all the while she was over serving a guy at the bar that was screaming at the top of his lungs at a hockey game which didn’t seem to bother her. I decided to just reorder my last drink. All in all, the fried fish was good but fries were meh. The Italian egg rolls were a good attempt, but nothing thrilling. The drink selection was good, but I’d double check what you get. Waitress and manager were very friendly and kind, but the half black and blonde haired bartender was rude. I’d give this place a 3 out of 10. I would...
Read moreRandomly happened upon this place looking for something else in maps. The pictures and menu looked great, so I figured I'd stop by at some point. Got the opportunity to do so sooner than I planned but with the family.
Sebastián's was as kid friendly as I'd expect a bar/restaurant to be. Small kids menu and crayons kept my 5 year old occupied. Being our first time there, we tried a number of items including the sampler. Everything was great!
Although I'm glad I was able to take my family, I was more so looking to try the drinks. Priding themselves on having an expansive whiskey and bourbon selection, I couldn't wait to try one of their house cocktails.
My wife had a mule (I've forgotten the name) and I had their Smoked Old Fashioned. It was a bit sweet because they used Smoked Maple Bourbon. If you're a bourbon drinker you'll know who's brand that is; they're the only ones with such a flavor in wide distribution. As an added bonus there were three strips of bacon! Both drinks were very good and unique.
The ambiance was that of a decently maintained sports bar. There was music (not too loud), tvs every where, table and high top seating and of course a sizeable bar. There was also gaming in the back. I appreciated that it was separated from the dining room. The crowd was a bit older and quieter. Personally, I like that.
Overall I'm glad we popped in. My wife noted that I have knack for finding nice, hidden gems to eat and drink at. I guess that means she enjoyed herself, great job Sebastián's! I'm looking forward to going back and tasting more of their...
Read moreAn outstanding local establishment for a good meal and cool beverage. Sebastian’s carries a very extensive food and drink menu, with a whole page dedicated to vegan fare. A little something for everyone.
Kelly is the most gracious and bubbly bartender, we always enjoy chatting with her. She always remembers the drink you normally order and often has it waiting for you before you even sit down. She is a joy to be around and we are grateful that she works here.
Our recent visit we enjoyed the 1/2 lb. Fried Calamari appetizer at the bar. My husband loved the chicken fingers appetizer. Kelly made a recommendation to me about the vegan chicken, and I opted for the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I’ve never had anything quite like it. The vegan patty was a good portion and was loaded with a tangy yet spicy Buffalo sauce. The “chicken” was juicy and tender - and almost too much like real chicken that I questioned if I was consuming vegan chicken haha. Seriously it was very good.
Plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports. Bonus they have a Touch Tunes jukebox which is always fun to play.
Prices are very reasonable here and you always get...
