T & JJ's Supreme Steaks & Catering Service — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Attended an event here while 5 months pregnant and I wouldn’t recommend that a stray DOG eat here. There was zero hospitality. The 2 women who were seemingly in charge were incredibly rude and at times hostile towards our entire group. My husband and I asked where we could change our 11 month olds diaper and as we were being guided, the woman assisting us became impatient with the speed our baby was walking and smacked her teeth, rolled her eyes, and shouted out “can somebody just pick up the baby so I can get back to what I was doing”. I then mentioned how hot it was inside the facility as I had started sweating and asked if they could adjust the temperature. That same woman looked at me and my baby and said “just finish taking care of your baby” and walked off. The food was as horrible as their demeanor. I noticed that they were putting all of the left over food from the catering pans into ziplock bags as if they were going to rewarm and reserve the food they had just served us. Yuck. The potato’s were a cheap box consistency, the Mac and cheese wasn’t the baked soul food kind- it was more like velveeta stove top, the fried chicken was NOT fresh, the fruit was canned, the baked chicken was slimy, mushy and grey colored, the cornbread was 2 days old at best. Wasn’t aware this place existed; 1st time customer, recently had my brother’s repass here and they provided a DJ for music, gave us a very mellow vibe, they decorated the place nicely, food was provided (soul food menu), but the food was AWFUL 🤢 wasn’t expecting that, EVERY dish provided was DISGUSTING! I was so disappointed. I actually can’t believe they Cater food 😐. Sandwiches were good though! On top of having nasty food, they had the NERVE to have EXTREMELY RUDE customer service, from the owner down to the servers! I guess everybody was having a bad day! During a time of mourning; all of the bad attitudes and judgment from their staff was insensitive and UNNECESSARY! I went here because I heard they cater good sandwiches. They need to work on their customer service skills. I have been calling five days straight just to place a order for 2 weeks away, but couldn’t get a answer. I went there today and quickly realize I wouldn’t spend a dime in this place. The lady working there was very rude. She told me and another gentleman that we had to wait before she helped us. After waiting a while she told me they weren’t taking anymore orders for today. I explained to her that I wanted it for a week away. She told me to grab and menu and call my order in at a later date. I told her I had been calling all week. She told me “don’t you see we busy”?
