Replying to @Nuggsnation2023 šŸ• Do Drop Inn first opened its doors in 1977, founded by Donna MacFarlane-Franz in Pueblo's Historic Bessemer neighborhood. šŸ• From the start, it served pizzas, pastas, steaks, chicken, and seafood-quickly becoming a relaxed, family-friendly staple. šŸŒ¶ļø Like many local eateries, Do Drop Inn reflects Pueblo's celebrated blend of Italian and Hispanic flavors, rooted in the region's immigrant history. šŸŒ¶ļø A defining moment came when Donna began topping pizzas with fire-roasted Pueblo green chiles and even swapping traditional tomato sauce for green chile stew -resulting in the iconic sweet-crust pizzas the joint is known for. šŸ’Æ Beyond serving food, Do Drop Inn actively supports local events and nonprofits, hosting fundraisers and enabling catering, fundraising, and private events at both its Pueblo and Pueblo West locations. šŸ„‡ Do Drop Inn is also featured on the Pueblo History and Art Walk, honoring its place in the city's cultural fabric. šŸ• Go for their signature green-chile-laden pizzas-like the "Pueblo's Favorite" or the "Bessemer's Pizza," which swaps tomato sauce for green chile. In this video, we had the meat lovers pizza. It’s so thick. It’s enough food for days! 🄩 🄘 If you’re in the mood for something other than pizza, they offer a full menu spanning breakfast through dinner, including steaks, seafood, and traditional Italian-American dishes. šŸ¤” Did you know? Pueblo earned the nickname "Melting Pot of the West" due to having workers from over 40 backgrounds in the early 20th century; many of those immigrant communities influenced local cuisine by merging Italian staples with the ubiquitous green chile. #pueblo #colorado #dodropinn #bessemer #WhereToEat #bestfoodinpueblo #restaurant #historiccolorado #pizza #steelcity #southerncolorado #local #meltingpotofthewest #italian #hispanic #culture #Foodie #colorfulcolorado #letsgoexplorecolorado #donnamacfarlanefranz

First and foremost ZERO STARS … I ordered a large combination pizza . Sadly brought the pizza home . There were six people at my home waiting to eat . Each took one slice … 8 slices in total . We all started eating …pizza was extremely dry . Was like just eating dough as it’s a thick pizza . Stopped eating and made a call to the manager . A young female who had no managerial skills to deal with the public answered who stated she was the manager . She asked me to send photos of my complaint which I had no issue with , and did . She stated I’ll phone you back after receiving them. She did 10 minutes later . When she phoned she stated that she consulted with her ā€œgeneral managerā€because she ā€œcan’t make decisionsā€ and unfortunately after examining the photos we can’t refund NOR make another pizza . And you’re a manager ?? How on earth can you tell a pizza is dry from a photo . I am the customer and telling you it’s like a matzah cracker with cheese with hardly any topping . Charge me $5 for this not $39. No one’s in charge there apparently and no one can make correct decisions and think for themselves . If something is wrong it’s wrong . Even if was free I would return . Well they have lost a long time customer due to a cheap pizza that was given to me … not in dollars but in product given in exchange … not to mention the so called MANAGER WHO WOULD NOT GIVE HER NAME. I don’t need her name let’s call her the ā€œignorant oneā€ with no social skills for the public . Well another business downhill in Pueblo due to the lack of knowledge and customer service which is non existent in this establishment . Angelo’s pizza now tops this town . Drop the Do and head over to Angelo’s :) Maybe take this as constructive criticism as there are other establishments willing to make things right and honest with the customer . This place is not that.

Fried pasta was delicious and I recommend it enthusiastically. The folks were friendly. The place was very clean. The restroom was very clean. You Pueblo natives are SO LUCKY to have a great restaurant like the Do Drop Inn! I made a togo order at the bar on Monday afternoon and it was ready in about 10 minutes. How cool is that? I drive truck all over the lower 48 states and this meal today has really made a difference. I'm happy! The people were super nice. The building is very interesting instead of being a cookie cutter chain restaurant "box". The lady that took my order was so personable it felt like I was conversing with an old friend. I hated to walk out of the place to be honest. I live in Florida but I hope I get another chance to sneak off I-25 and onto Santa Fe Drive so I can visit the Do Drop Inn again to give them some well earned repeat business because they've earned it. Thank you for the delicious meal and keep up the good work!!

Do they delete their bad reviews? Cause the customer service here is TERRIBLE ! Our blonde waitress, didn’t check on us, didn’t come greet us with a positive attitude, was sitting down on the stool at the bar across from us while trying to take our order, once she realized that wasn’t working out for her cause she couldn’t hear us and wasn’t writing anything that we ordered down she finally stood up , she had her underwear showing over her pants while she was sitting at the bar, she was over all trashy, my little sisters pizza was burnt she couldn’t even bite into it she ate of the cheese & the manager still made us pay for the buffet 7$ cause she ate the cheese off the crust. That pizza was most likely sitting there for hours. I ended up taking my burger to go cause everyone else had left the restaurant and my waitress was worried about mopping and cleaning up the store to leave other than helping us. She seen us and didn’t care, the ā€œmanagerā€ was no better. 0/10 ! Do better you girls are making yourselfs look stuck up and trashy . Charging 7$ for my 4 year old who only ate the cheese off LITERALLY ONE PIZZA because she couldn’t bite into the crust. Then they wanna accuse us of lieng, look at the cameras!! We have NO REASON TO LIE. I’m still mad about this & I’m not gonna stop until something is done here, I’m not even trying to be a Karen but the way they acted and treated us tonight was...

Wow... I have had bad service, and this place beat that by a mile. Pizza is good, but overpriced. We were seated upstairs, basically alone, and abandoned for about an hour. The waitress did not bring one of our drinks to the table, for which we had to ask. When taking our orders, she completely skipped one person and almost ran from the table before we could talk to her. We waited almost an hour before getting our food with no communication from her or any refill on the drinks. She came up a couple of times to clean other empty tables but did not even look our way.

I had to go downstairs and inquire about the food before it was brought up, at which point the imbecile who brought it tried to set a piping hot pizza pan on the table ON TOP OF MY TWO YEAR OLD'S HAND. The baby got lucky and just happened to move his hand just in time, and my wife had to yell at the guy to get him to move the hot pan away.

After the last plate was set down, the waitress had the nerve to tell us that "The restaurant is closing, but no rush... we will be here as long as it takes you to finish." We immediately asked for boxes and the bill, informed her that we didn't want to spend any more time there due to the problems. One large pizza, not counting the other items ordered, was thirty dollars. No apologies offered, no offer for discount... basically felt like "here's your food, now GTFO" type of...
