Lately I’ve noticed the flour tortillas are shaped weird, not round. Also every now and then I’m cheated out of 1 tortilla per dozen. On the weekends I use to like to get the barbacoa, but they also haven’t been giving the chopped cilantro and onions as they did previously. This happened the last 2 times I purchased barbacoa. I guess from now on I either have to ask if they put it in or check for myself. They charge for all of it, but won’t hesitate to leave it outšŸ‘ŽšŸ» Also purchased menudo in the past and not only was it lacking flavor, both the tripe and hominy were still hard and had a fishy taste to it. It was also mostly liquid. Better off paying $1 less and buying it from Marquez on 4th st. Better tasting and comes with all the fixings and toasted bread or tortilla. No fishy taste, and not mostly broth.

Really good burrito! It was just meat and sauce in a tortilla, but each element was perfect and it was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The meat was well-cooked, tender, and flavorful. The sauce was incredible and so good!! I did a green chili burrito first and then went back for seconds and got red chili on the next one. The green was my favorite. "That burrito was so good I'm going to be thinking about it for weeks" - my friend 20 minutes after finishing his. They also do tamales (by the dozen) and some other take-home items which I would have loved to try.

I only got to try the Barbacoa and Menudo, being that I showed up on a very busy day (after the Chile and Frijoles festival). I was in kind of a rush, so I didn't have time to wait for tortillas to be made. Got a pound of Barbacoa and some menudo. Both were absolutely delicious. I bet their burritos are delicious. Will have to try them one day.

Went to the store, ordered 2 dozen tamales, 16 Oz of chili Verde, 3 cokes,3 pineapple,3 orange sodas. Charged 33.00 dollars. In bag was 2 dz flour tortillas, chili verde,6 sodas. Told the lady that No, we didn't order tortillas and we needed the 3 other sodas. Then they took bag back, came back with the tamales, and then gave us the other sodas. In between this exchange the lady was rude, and since we already paid for tortillas,we wanted them as well. So we paid for the.tamales and extra sodas. She wouldn't give us the tortillas. So we paid 33.00 dollars for the tortillas and 6.sodas and then 39.00 dollars for 2 dz tamales and 3 sodas. Get home, the tamales are not finished cooking as they were gooey and the masa was not finished steaming. I feel we were ripped off,and the lady would not listen to what we we saying. We were very disappointed and will not recommend nor return. It's a shame as I used to...

This review is nearly 20 years past due! I had gone to this place when i was a child and to this day everytime i eat a tortilla i think of this place! I still remember how good the tortillas were/apparently still are! If i find myself back in CO again i will CERTAINLY give this place a visit!!! Just so everyone knows, no store bought tortillas had/has ever EVER topped these tortillas YET. Thats how good I remember them being. EDIT:had forgotten the name as well until i finally thought of asking my sister if she knew(thought about this place for literal YEARS) as soon as she told me, thought I'd let...
