Best food. I love their chicken tacos on white and burritos smothered in their green chili.
Update Two years ago I updated my review after a few orders back to back were off tasting(green chili) that wasn't their usual. Well after eating here again, finally, I am happy to say they found their groove again. I've been craving them ever since, can't really eat there these days with the new hours. PSst not the point of this review though... don't go in expecting authentic Mexican. This is the most Americanized Mexican food, in the nicest way possible. I'm a wimp to heat so the green is perfect for me. No large chunks of pork or chilies and veggies, kinda like a green chili bisque if you will. Always order it on the side when ordering to go or you will have a mess. Ask for no cheese, unless you love Velvet, ick. The boiled shredded chicken is bland AF (Not boiled with anything but water bland) get extra salsa (zero heat) Pico and green salsa, I think it is, to liven it up a bit. I only get 2 things when I eat here. Chicken tacos on white (which have been extra dry and bland lately ^^duh ^^ and bean burrito chili on side, no cheese in anything, yuck) Remember this place is very Americanized before trying it out. Why do I love it? I don't know, perhaps it's nostalgia from childhood. I recommend this little burrito/taco place on prairie and Jones next to Mueller's auto for a good chicken taco on white. Weird to mention them right now but those babies just...
Read moreTheir customer service is awsome. The cashier named Tanisha was highly energetic and very helpful to my order. I liked the fact that they provided complimentary sopapia with honey it was delicious. How ever I was disappointed with their food that I ordered. I ordered a smothered burrito called el burro. It came with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese all inside. When they said smothered they smothered the hell out of this burrito, literally the whole to go box they deliver the food in was drenched in sauce. It almost looked like a burrito soup. I'm ok with that but the dissaponent was with the flavor. All that red sauce they threw in there and it barely had any flavor, I had to pour some additional different kind of red salsa on it which by the way that actually tasted good and made my tasteless meal taste much better. I might give them another shot and try something else but their customer service like I said rocks! And they are very proactive with wiping things down with sanitizer so they do maintain cleaningness. I'll try them again and change my stars If it taste...
Read moreI read through the ratings first because honestly I wanted to see other people as pleased as I was. Tried to see if I could find a local family-owned restaurant to put my money towards since I was in from out of town and love supporting those kind of businesses. I was incredibly impressed with this place, what a gem. They treat everyone that comes in like old friends, they do not let you go hungry, they show up before you even said anything about needing anything, they are intuitive, these people are pros. Service aside, this was also some of the best Tex-Mex style Mexican food I have had in Colorado. I have seriously been looking for decent sopapillas for 20 years in this state. These are the best ones in Colorado. If you are in Pueblo you have to come check this place out. Honestly I hope they don't change or get bigger in size, just bigger in their wallet and their joy. I ordered the chili relleno because that's a personal favorite. Theirs is soft pillowy egg style....
