Ianne's Pizzeria Inc — Restaurant in Pueblo

I have been to Ianne's Pizza many times and I really like the pizza. I was headed to the drive in movies last night and pre ordered a large pizza again. I still had to wait 25 minutes and as I stood in the lobby I was disgusted by what I observed. I understand that Ianne's is in a rough area and it must be difficult to find employees with tact, cleanliness and customer service skills but the service is way below acceptable standards. The phone is answered by a curt if not rude man that simply says "hello". I could barely understand him and had to ask repeatedly if I was indeed talking to Ianne's Pizza. I have been treated rudely by the tiny, old waitress when I have eaten in, having to chase her down for any service or drink refill. Seriously, I had to go get her when I wanted anything and we were the ONLY customers dining in!!! Last night I observed several employees EATING from the make line with their bare fingers WHILE making pizza!!!! When I brought this to the attention of the manager, a short hispanic woman with razor stubble and a triple chin, not only did she do NOTHING to reprimand them she ASSURED me that this was FINE because the pizza's are baked in the oven!!! I was disgusted and assured her that this WAS NOT fine and against health code and she again insisted that this was ok because the food is baked in the oven. I called today and was told that the owner, Nick Nicola was not in. I like the pizza but the Health Inspector needs to know about the practices here and enforce code. I will be...

We only had an issue with me thinking that cheese topping came on the ravioli meal. I've always had baked pastas or types like that served with cheese on top. I had asked for extra then saw two charges for it. When I asked he explained and as I went up to pay our server already brought it up so they made things right.

Definitely good service.

The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. Our server was friendly, attentive and pleasant. The manager (I'm assuming) handled my problem very well and with friendliness.

We will try their pizza next time. I wasn't a super fan of the ravioli but it wasn't bad.

My boyfriend got the fish platter and he said it was pretty good, but nothing super impressive. Batter was crispy, no residual oil so good frying. Fries were good as well.

We got the appetizer platter of mozzarella, mushrooms, poppers. I think the mushrooms were my favorite part of it. It was okay but not worth the 26.63 we were charged for it. That's the only thing I had a problem with price on. Maybe a 15 to 18 max price for something like that would make sense, not 26.63. Even the extra cheese charge was fair if it were legit for someone. It wasn't very much cheese though. This meal has cost about 50 in my experience, so that's the only thing that threw me off. We will go back though to try the pizza. They are higher price but I believe the quality will...

Honestly so disappointed... I am born and raised in Pueblo and my dad grew up in Bessemer... Used to rave about Iannes how great the pizza and Italian is. I ate it as a kid went in for the 1st time as an adult with my family it will be 1st and last time.... We were a table of 6 my aunt had the chicken which was great fried really good. My mother in law had a grinder that was good and my son had a corn dog that was good I mean it's a corn dog. Anyhow I ordered lasagna looked more like lasagna soup so much sauce it was swimming.. sauce had no flavor at all lasagna hardly had any cheese at all and the 2 meatballs given with it were tiny then the middle of the lasagna was cold as a piece of ice! Literally ice cold I sent it back they put it in the microwave which I did say go ahead because my family was already pretty much done. My husband ordered pizza and spaghetti the spaghetti same thing as the lasagna drowning in flavorless sauce... The pizza was HORRID! My husbands favorite food is pizza so we try pretty much every pizza place around this was by far one of the worst... Not kidding it had an inch thick layer of grease! Looked like grease pizza instead of cheese and pepperoni... sorry Iannes but I think you need to go back to the drawing board on the italian... Service was good tho very...
