I been to ever pet store in Pueblo for my animals to buy food and other items my baby boy is a California King Desert 🐍 snake and he loves this place because he's never ran out of his fuzzy mousse live one not frozen ones like modt of these places usely have becubec they never keep a good stock of feeders like fish ,mices, and rats and so on and feeders that I never seen in my life they are so friendly and get you out the store so fast because they understand you are a busy person and need to get where you need to go. Crooks! This place will rob you blind! Made the hour trip to get 25 LARGE crickets and they gave us small crickets and ripped us off did not even give us 25 they shorted us . They charged triple of what any other stores charge including the Big Box pet stores charge. Complete shame when you try to support local and they are patting you on the back and dipping right into the pocket with the other hand WONT BE BACK. We decided to call around to find a new friend for our oldest son's guinea pig. Our younger son had gotten one from a different provider in the area for his birthday and unfortunately had his pass away after only a few weeks. We were so glad to find out Animal Kingdom not only sells guinea pigs, but they had a variety of options and they were well taken care of. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help! We were more than happy to support a locally owned business as an added benefit! We had never seen a chocolate guinea pig before and after much name discussion "Brownie" (after one of his favorite desserts) is now a welcomed addition. He is enjoying running around in their guinea pig habitat with his new brother and getting plenty of love from the kids.
