I came thru the drive - thru on 6/2/23 at 5:29 pm. The person taking the order was professional, but the girl at the next window didn't speak or make eye contact, she handed my food out the window and walked away. So I parked and checked my bag and I was missing my chicken nuggets. So I drove back thru and was told to proceed to next window. I told the girl I had not received my chicken nuggets, but she still didn't speak to me. Instead she kept trying to hand me other people's orders. I repeat it again and another employee came and asked what I needed. I informed her the first girl didn't communicate or even offer a thank you.She acknowledge that and apologised and got my nugget and thanked me.When I got home I called and spoke to the manager and she informed me that the girl was disabled. I'm all for hiring disabled people as both my son's are disabled and one is autistic and I'm assuming the girl at the window must be, because if she were deaf or mute she would most likely know sign language. My 30 years in the food industry and most of that time was spent in management I knew that the drive thru requires someone that can communicate with the customer. Surely there are jobs that would better suit the girls talents, like baggin the food, cleaning or making drinks. On another subject the taco salad was awful.Chili beans instead of taco meat, not so good!! The picture had chips but instead I got crackers and the chicken nuggets I went back thru for were cold, it's' a good thing my dog didn't mind. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Someone in charge should take note. Possibly...
Read moreI haven’t had Wendy’s in a while and decided to stop this evening. Of course we went through the drive through given the inability to go inside with the pandemic.
At this time it is a requirement for all essential workers to wear a face covering or mask. None of the workers were wearing face covering and all were immediately next to each other.
When I got home I called the manager to ask if she knew about the exec order placed by the governor requiring face coverings. I was nothing but polite but was treated rudely and told to call the general manager the next day. When I began asking a question I was immediately hung up on. This was incredibly poor customer service and unprofessional behavior on the part of management of this establishment.
While I have been a customer throughout my life sadly I will no longer go to Wendy’s. It appears as though their practices are unsafe and when questions arise they aren’t addressed.
Hopefully they aren’t the cause of the general public or their employees...
