My first time at this place with my husband and child while we were spending a weekend away in Round Hill. Ummmm first of all I was completely shocked and thrown off by how the staff addressed my family and I about my 18 month old son not wearing a mask and how our group of 6 with two babies (so yes total of 8 but they’re literally babies and we can’t leave them outside) ..... I’m fully aware of CDC guidelines and know that employees have to follow a certain protocol, but addressing a big group of families with kids, you could at least be pleasant about it, I had no problem leaving and waiting outside while my husband orders as long as they would’ve just asked politely, they threw me Off so much that I didn’t even want anything anymore. My other group of friends followed after me because they immediately felt so uncomfortable and just followed after me. My husband still decided to order since we promised my little one ice cream, but as soon as he placed the order (keep in mind everyone in the store which was my group of family and friends all immediately followed after me because no one wanted to buy anything anymore) anyways as soon as he placed an order, they told him to “GO WAIT OUTSIDE” even though there was absolutely no one in the store which was so bizarre??? And while my husband was looking at the menu before placing the order the staff were LITERALLY gossiping about my friend and I in FRONT of my husband!!! How absolutely absurd and RUDE! We truly did not mean any trouble and just wanted to get my son and my friends some ice cream on our little weekend away but the service was so absurd and shocking honestly. What really through my husband and I off was that we truly thought they only told him to wait outside just because it was a policy......... but every single BIG family that all walked in right after us... ALL walked out with their ice creams and were not ever asked to wait outside for it to be brought out to them. I honestly felt so completely racially profiled, we are all of south Asian and middle eastern descent and I truly felt nothing else but discriminated against from a group of rude...
Read moreJust as others have shared, the toppings are pretty disappointing. I was driving through the area and wanted a sweet treat, so I stopped in here, first time, and was welcomed by friendly staff. Everything was great until I got my vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce - there was just the tiniest drizzle of peanut butter sauce on the ice cream and within 3–4 bites it was completely gone, leaving me with just a large amount of plain ice cream. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but I was expecting a lot more when it came to the topping I ordered. If you get the same thing from Swirlies they will drizzle it all over plus put extra around the cup. When comparing with pictures in the store, they show way more toppings on the advertised ice cream than...
Read moreThis location racially discriminates and doesn’t take responsibilities for their actions. Instead of apologizing for their staff they continued to argue with the customer and emphasize the fact that it’s impossible to be racially discriminated against because they have POC working there. Adding to that, they’re deleting the reviews left by customers that are negative to keep a fake positive image. A review is meant to show other customers what to expect from this business. If you don’t want negative reviews, have better customer service. Their negligence and ignorance is disgusting and disappointing for a small, local business, especially in these times. I would not recommend this store to anyone,...
