Original Abv 6.8
This is the cider that started it all. It is our gold-medal winning, medium-sweet, crisp, clean cider.
Dusty Abv 6.8
Dusty has half the sweetness of original. It has a clean, crisp start with a drier finish that many people associate with a dry white wine.
Valley Raspberry Abv 6.2
This cider is made with raspberries picked on our farm and the nose is reminiscent of a basket of freshly picked berries. It sits ricely on the tongue with just the right amount of acid to round out its sweet notes.
Blackberry Abv 6.2
This cider is made with blackberries picked on our farm. It has a more neutral nose followed by a full-bodied depth of flavor with a slight tannic finish.
Hop'n Abv 6.8
This is our dusty base cider which is cold-fermented with simcoe hops. This gives it a wonderful floral, tropical fruit, and pine sap nose followed with a clean, crisp finish.

Would be 5 stars for food, drinks, atmosphere, but can only leave 2 stars due to getting bit by the dog on property. Would gladly return if dog is no longer allowed to roam or kept to one section. On this last Friday, we went to Cockrell to meet some friends for a cider. Cockrell allows children under 18 months to come in. So we brought our 6 month old with us. We had drinks and ordered pizza from the food truck. All of the food, beverages, and atmosphere were really great, until the black lab on the property came over to our table. Earlier in the evening, we were petting the dog and our friends (who had been before) said he was very friendly. Later on, my 6month old was in his car seat on the grass between my husband and I, the dog wandered up to our table. My friend called the dog over by her, so the dog would not bother the baby. I opened my pizza box to eat a slice, and the dog bit my hand. He was going for the pizza slice but instead got my hand. It was very unexpected and quite painful. Even our friends were shocked, as we were not attempting to feed the dog nor taunting it. I was just trying to eat my pizza slice. Luckily it did not break skin, however it left large indent on pointer finger (leaving the finger/hand sore) and bruising along my middle, ring, and pinky fingers. After we had left, I called the owner to let him know and he said that he will “take the this into consideration very seriously.” But a word to the wise, keep your distance from the dog if you plan on eating while at Cockrell.

This might be the best place to spend a summer afternoon. When we were there, it was early spring, but the weather suddenly warmed up to t-shirt weather, and we were playing fetch with the dog on the lawn, relaxing in the lounge chairs, drinking some blackberry cider (of course) and listening to the chickens. The tasting room is small with plenty of seating on the deck outside it, and the bottles they sell are some of the best cider Cockrell makes. On the weekdays they're open, the place gets packed fast after work hours, and parking can be a challenge so get there early to make sure you get a parking space and a table. It's no longer the secret it once was.

So happy I found this gem! Wanted to take my good friend to a cider place & it did not disappoint at all. Tried a blackberry and blueberry cider. Both were delicious. Venue has different food trucks on different days. They also have wine and beer. We decided to buy the glasses because we can bring them back and reuse them! They are all about recycling & we love that. The atmosphere is also very inviting. Saw people grabbing games to play at the table too. Looks like they had a nice selection. We will definitely be back!
