So I went to wanna cupcakes for an interview actually. I was excited to try them because I drove past them everyday after taking my son to school. But I just never had a reason to pull in. Well first there dozen was 48$ which I guess is average around here. Well I bought a red velvet, salted Carmel, happy birthday, lemonlicious, mimosa, chocolate mounds, cinnamon roll, dr z sweet tooth, vanilla with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with chocolate buttercream vanilla buttercream with chocolate buttercream and a German chocolate. So I got home and shared with my dad. The plan was to cut each cupcake in half and try it. Well plans changed and we had to cut those halfâs in half. It was not only dry but tooth rotting sweet. I started my business because stores and competitors cupcakes were too sweet. It could just be me and my taste and I would have though that if my dad refused to eat more than a quarter as well. My son liked them though(but he asked for milk to eat it with.) so out of 12 cupcakes all together we had a half of each one and my son ate the other half of the happy birthday cupcake. I just think for the price the cupcakes should definitely be better. Maybe I came on an off day? But to try every cupcake and they were all dry. It was highly disappointing. I threw away the extras because no one wanted to eat them. Thatâs how...
Read moreIâm the Queen of cupcakes as far as Iâm concerned and after an online search and I of course had to eventually try this place. Found myself in the area and just had to try and I absolutely swear these are the best cupcakes in the area of Puget Sound even way better than the others like Cupcake Royal are a sad joke compared to these ones which never was a favorite of mine anyway. Will definitely be worth a drive down south now and then. Got some extras to freeze so will last awhile. These are right there with a place that used to be in West Seattle for many years until the owner retired Stuffed Cakes which is hard to beat but these are right in line with those for those of you who remember and loved âStuffed Cakesâ West Seattle. Definitely go give these a try! Perfect to just stop in and pick up to take to a party. I actually found myself absolutely to love the basic vanilla type sprinkle cupcakes which are stocked daily, I was told. Good thing I donât live close by or bad for my health but theyâd definitely know me. I plan to definitely go back sometimes which will now be an excuse to drive down to the area once in awhile. Sooooo good! The best! Excellent cupcakes and highly recommended!! Best cupcakes that I know of...
Read moreNew to the area, and saw this place listed. It peaked my interest and her I am one month later checking it out!
The staff was welcoming and helpful... I am a bit indecisive. Settled on a single peanut butter cup cupcake... It was delicious! The chocolate cake was very delicate, moist and savory. Makes you want to eat whatâs left on the wrapper! The frosting was a little too rich for me, but ONLY because it felt too heavy combined with the texture of the cake. To me, the balance seemed a little off because of it... But I just chalked it up to it being too chilled on account of my arriving shortly after opening. Otherwise, it was very very tasty!
GPS doesnât send you to the building. It sends you to the veterinarian parking lot next door. The store is in a fenced off plaza at the very end of the building.... Get inside the fence, bc there isnât a side entrance I could see.
Parking can be tight, but okay.
The atmosphere is awesome and smells delicious! I got there shortly after opening so everything wasnât on display, bc they make fresh products daily!
The 30 min drive was worth it... I wish there were another location. Anyway, whenever my family and I are in the area we will...
