I've ordered and had food delivered to my place from Jersey Mike's Subs, Quincy several times in the past year. It always took a while for the food to get here....but it was hot and tasted pretty good.
Today was the TOTAL OPPOSITE. Food arrived pretty quickly, the only thing that was acceptable, otherwise, this was the worst experience of my life in terms of food delivery. The sub I ordered was ICE cold, and the meat and cheese tasted old. I took two bites and through the rest in the trash, I wouldn't feed that "shi.." to my dog. I called Jersey Mike's Subs to complain. I mentioned that I had ordered a wrap as well. But based on my experience with the sub, I explained I was afraid to eat it.
The employee said "I don't blame you"....I wouldn't eat it either. I'm glad I didn't ask for the worker's name. Otherwise Ian probably would have included it in this review. But then he probably would have lost his job. The way things are today, I really wouldn't want to do that. But I appreciated his candor. Please stay away from this place...
Read moreYesterday we decided we’d try Jersey Mike’s. We went to the Quincy location. When we walked in, the restaurant was super clean! The staff was very nice and welcoming. My mom and I ordered the original Italian w/lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hots and oil/vinegar. My son opted for a ham and cheese w/mustard. They took such great care in putting our subs together. Now we live about 25-30 minutes away from Quincy and I was a little concerned about the possibility of our subs being soggy when we got home. But we made another stop anyway which of course added some time to our trip home. Can I just say that we were pleasantly surprised (and shocked) to find that our subs were NOT soggy!!! We just kept wondering what kind of bread they use because we’ve never had a sub especially with oil and vinegar that didn’t get soggy. We had leftovers for today and the bread was still NOT soggy!!! I definitely can’t wait to get my hands on another Jersey Mike’s...
Read moreI want to bring up an issue I’ve now experienced more than once with Youhong. When I came in to pick up my order, instead of helping me, he rolled his eyes and walked away. Another employee had to step in to actually hand me my food. This exact situation has happened before, and I already left a review about it. I was told management would address it, but clearly nothing has changed.
It’s really disappointing because I always pay for my food and expect basic courtesy when picking it up. I’m not looking for anything extra—just decent service. Having an employee treat customers with that kind of attitude is not acceptable, and it reflects badly on the whole location.
I hope this time the issue is actually taken seriously, because customers deserve better than being ignored and disrespected by the same person over...
