I have NEVER been a karen before today. Story time: i ordered lagondola via doordash and they forgot my garlic bread. I tried asking for a refund thru doordash and they refused because there were too many complaints about missing items from this store. So i decided to call the store to see about just driving there to get it. The guy who answered (found out it was the owner) argued saying that it was in the bag and asked if the bag was sealed. I said yes and he told me that the doordasher took pictures and saw everything was in the bag. I told him how would the dasher know it was in the bag if it was sealed and he proceeded to tell me it was there and that i needed to contact doordasher bcuz it was their problem. After more of him arguing with me and his wife yapping in the background and how if it was still sealed blah blah blah and the dashers are known for stealing blahblahblah. I finally got angry and said they can either give me a refund or the food. He yelled and said i could go back for the garlic bread but that im being put on "the list". I went there still angry as can be and told them i was here to pick up my bread. I just expect no words but those and to get my bread and ill be happy again (dont mess with a girl and her food) but both owners argued saying it was doordashers fault and they wont refund because too many people were "scamming" the restaurant saying they were shorted stuff and it wasnt their problem. I got karen angry and told them that i was never going back there because of the awful interaction i had with them. The owner says " thats ok because i have your name and your being added to the block list". I stormed out of there after mire arguing and as i was both owners were yelling and arguing with me still about how it was doordash problem. Read moreI was not impressed by the way that looked inside it looked like it's not been cleaned up for years the bathrooms are awful I mean just not updated at all seen a lot I know where they cook the food it just kind of sticking me this it looked like there was Grease up on the walls they are just dark from cooking just not changed at all I have asthma carpet is so old that I could smell things in there was not impressed at all and I really didn't want to try the food you know I hear it was really good but what I ordered I was not impressed by it it cost me $11 and I thought I'd be really fantastic it tasted like a off sweetness it didn't taste like a sandwich not much on there at all for the price the pictures hanging on the walls I saw dust gathering on them the doors were absolutely filthy you just wanted to touch the door knob only not and make sure you wash your hands or use sanitizer and I'm not saying this maybe the food is really good other foods there I just didn't try but it just didn't look advertising I really surprised to help department doesn't do something about it now the lady I talked to was so nice she was very pleasant but I just don't know what to sweetness was on the sandwich it shouldn't been sweet if my kitchen looks like that my husband would have divorce me long time ago or our bathrooms or anywhere needs to be a lot of upgrades there and I thought the prices for what they offered was a little high that's my...
Read moreI am a doordasher and asked for silverware per a customer's request. The manager came up to me and said they do not modify orders after they've been bagged. I said I just needed silverware because the customer asked for it through the app. He said that the customer needed to request it through the app then. All over silverware. He continued to lecture me and another woman said they put it in the bag even though it said not to. I said thank you to the woman who handed me the order and told me it was in the bag while he was still lecturing me. I told him, "sir I didnt think it would be that big of a deal since you could just hand it to me instead of reopening the bag." He continued lecturing me so I said "thank you sir have a great day" twice as he was now yelling at me as i was leaving. He then told another employee to add me to the block list. I later called to express to him that I did not mean any harm and apologize. He called me a spoiled brat and told me to get a job. All of this over PLASTIC SILVERWARE.
