TLDR: Go for the noodles, and anything on the appetizer menu.
MENU: Familiar Thai fare, plus a variety of items that you don't commonly find at Thai-American restaurants, at least in my experience.
FOOD QUALITY: Excellent. The first time I went, a man - who I assume to be the owner - took great care in taking my order and ensuring it was well prepared. Top notch. Everything is fresh and made to order.
MENU FAVORITES: I recommend the chicken satay, spring rolls, and crispy wings. When it comes to Thai, I prefer noodle dishes. I've had the pad thai and the pad woon sen - both deserving of the name delish. I've also had the spicy thai basil fried rice, which was good as well.
MENU FAILS: N/A. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've had here so far.
FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE: I usually get food to go. On one occasion, I got to witness the psychology of a waitress (short husky gal with curly auburn hair) who only cares about tips... She started out friendly and cordial, but when she realized I was a to-go customer, she flipped like a switch and ignored me completely - I waited for probably twenty minutes before a man, who I assume to be the owner because he was expediting in the kitchen, realized I was there and came to take my order. I know restaurant service staff depend on tips to make ends meet, but come on; she could have at least referred me to someone else so I didn't have to wait.
KITCHEN SERVICE: Top notch.
ATMOSPHERE: I haven't eaten inside the restaurant, but the decor is stylish, spacious, and...
Read moreWent here with my cousin who was visiting from out of town. Let me say upfront — the food was incredible. Some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. The egg rolls were amazing, we were seriously impressed.
That said, the service left a weird taste. I asked a couple questions — where the bathroom was, a few things about the menu — nothing wild. But when I asked if the cook was Thai (because again, the food was that good), the server’s whole demeanor shifted. My cousin even noticed her face change and said something about it later.
As soon as the word “Thai” came out of my mouth, I got hit with the Gen Z Stare of Disapproval. You know the one — eyes blank, energy gone, suddenly you’re the bad guy for… being curious?
I asked if I could meet the cook to give her a compliment, and the server kind of shrugged it off: “She doesn’t like to meet people.” Which honestly felt more like she didn’t want to go get her. I get it — maybe they were busy — but how many people are asking to meet the cook because the food’s that good?
Bottom line: Food? Amazing. Service? Cold. Still glad I went, but it was hard not to feel like I was being a nuisance for asking...
Read moreThis has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The last few times I’ve been there it is taken an hour or more to get my food and they were not busy. They have shrunk the lunch menu size and do not give out salads anymore for any food ordered during lunch. They also seem to have shrunk the Portion size as I was not full after leaving there spending $20 for my food this evening. I will say our waitress Corey did an excellent job.
Again to reiterate, you guys were not busy when we arrived at all, I believe 5 total tables… If someone has to purchase a dinner item because of the menu shrinkage they pay more now for their meal with no salad, that’s not ok. The portion was smaller, I wasn’t full after eating. Thanks for taking the time to critique the review. And yes the wait time has been well over an hour and a half multiple times we’ve been there in the last few months. It seems like the kitchen is unable to keep up when you guys are busy. Again, we do love your food, but I have noticed a steep decline. I hope you’re noticing all the complaints about the food Wait time I hope you guys can get that figured out...
