Subway — Restaurant in Quincy

7-16-21 We arrived around 7:35pm to a hand written note on door that store was closing at 8:00pm. Normal closing post on door was 9:00pm. They lovingly greeted us with annoyed looks, making us feel we had ruined their night by coming in; how could we do this to them as they were closing early. Service was rushed, curt & they graciously continued to give us annoyed looks. One employee told a person in our group they were closing at 8 and we needed to leave at that time. I asked where napkins were & they said ”behind here” without offering to give me some. I asked if I could have some and they said they were in the bags. After asking (again) if I could have some (extra) napkins, they took the time to count out 4 napkins & gave them to me. In a rush to close early, but definitely had the time to be sure we did not get a surplus of Subway napkins. Glad I asked for napkins as we had six in our group and only 2 napkins were in the bags. They turned away 2 walk-ins, one came in before 8pm. At 8:05, they turned the lights out on us (there was one other family dining in). Guess it was easier to turn lights off than lock the door and/or come over to see if we needed anything else before they closed. Luckily we were already finishing up. Please tell them we’re sorry we ruined their night and that it was nice how extremely unprofessional they treated us and the other customers. I love subway and the food is consistantly good AND MOSTLY FRESH!! My only prob was i went in there w a coupon and had my sandwich made and she said my coupon was expired so.i ended up paying almOSt $10.00 for a 6" sub which looked like 4". Where the coupon would have made it $3.99. BIG DIFFERENCE! I DONT THINK ITS RIGHT MY COUPON EXPIRED WHEN THEY ARE N THE PAPER EVERY WEEK! NOT FAIR! Probably one of the best subway experiences I’ve ever had. I order a Philly cheesesteak with easy ranch and chipotle sauce. And in my opinion corporate trainers should use these workers as their examples. Almost every time I’ve ever ordered a sandwich at multiple locations, I order easy sauce, otherwise it’s just too much and I’m often disappointed.
