Yummy's Donut Palace — Restaurant in Quincy

We went to the drive through to try these donuts I've heard everyone raving about. I mentioned it was our first time and Paul invited us inside. For a Sunday afternoon, it was just what we needed.

The donuts are sublime! I love good food. The dough was excellent, cooked through, light, crispy, so alive with flavor! I tried some of a filled long john with pudding, and then I needed to taste their cinnamon roll. Paul recommended it, and it delivered greatness!!!

I feel like that is saying a lot for a cinnamon roll, however the Midwest and our town offers so many different versions of the roll.

This one is easily tied for first in my mind with some of the greats that we have here in Quincy!

We were so excited to finally get here. It's been on our treat food bucketlist for awhile. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The minute we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles all around. The owners are so wonderful. The place was well stocked, super clean. We arrived around 10:30-ish, got a dozen assorted donuts to go. We were in town for the day and wanted to save them for our family for the next morning) we also got a bag of donut holes. Oh my goodness.... Mouth Watering!!! The best, most freshest ever! The Donut Palace is spot on! Friendly. Affordable prices. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. This place is a complete joke! Waited in line for 40 minutes, ordered food at the window, went to pay for food and was told they are not accepting debit/credit cards. You would think that they would have it posted for all the customers waiting all that time in the drive thru. If I could rate them less then one star on customer service...
