Terrible experience with suits for our wedding party. Would NOT recommend! I will start by saying that I understand all of the issues below may not be the fault of this specific store, but at least some are. We ordered 10 suits for our wedding and no ties were ordered for any of them. They told us we didnât select ties and after telling them we did, they looked at the sheet and said âoh there were ties on here, we didnât notice thatâ so the ties all came in late. Out of the 10 suits only 3 of them came in sized correctly. The others were not even close to the right sizes and people had to come back the next day for pickups. Luckily everyone went on Thursday because they were not available for re-pickup until after 1pm on Friday. If this would have been the case for Saturday nobody would have had a suit in time for our pictures that started at 11am. Friday when the father of the bride went for re-pickup he was given two pairs of pants and no jacket. Then he went back a third time Friday night and was given the wrong color jacket that again was too small. By this point it was too late to have a new one shipped in so he had to wear the wrong color for the wedding. One of the groomsmanâs pants were 4+ inches too short and he was told âthis is how they are supposed to fitâ. Our ring bearers shirt was past his knees and they said this was the only size available. Luckily they found one in the back that was smaller, however it was not the same color or style as the rest of them. I contacted the store afterwards and they were not able to do anything about it or provide any reimbursement. Regardless if this was an issue with the store or the company itself, I would never recommend....
Read moreMy daughter got married last weekend. We had groomsmen from several different places and we dealt with the Quincy, IL store as well as a couple of locations in the St.Louis area. The Quincy IL store messed up my son's tux sizing, put his shoe size/order with my dad's order, measured both of them incorrectly, and had an absolutely disorganized mess when it came time to pick up the tuxes. There were four other tuxes sized wrong (6 out of 13 wrong) that I know of. My son's pants ripped the day of the wedding, due to incorrect sizing, and a few of the groomsmen did not get their buttons with their tuxes. The worst part of the experience for us was the fact that Quincy IL employees didn't seem to be bothered by our lack of customer service and insisted that there were no tuxes for our event at their store.(There were, and one was changed not once but TWICE to other locations, and one picked up there two days before the wedding.) When we asked for the locations for the other stores in the St. Louis area, the girl at the counter simply shrugged and said she didn't have an address. And other groomsmen were inconvenienced on their pickup locations also.
If formal wear is your business, I would think measurements, wedding party details, and pickup arrangements would be the utmost important part of the job, not to mention customer service. I would not recommend Savvi to any future couple, and as I will most likely have another family wedding in the near future, I will most certainly look elsewhere for the...
Read moreOne of my friends was getting married out of state and wanted all his groomsmen to be matching so he chose Savvi. For what youâre paying to rent cheaply made suits and uncomfortable shoes you can spend a little more to own a better quality garment. My suit fit fine, however, two of the four groomsmen received an ill fitting suit so be careful to make sure you have enough time to exchange for proper size before your event. The wedding also landed on a holiday weekend and I was charged an additional late fee because I did leave the wedding early, cross state lines, in order to return my suit before the holiday, that Savvi was not even open for. So regardless they were not open, I was still charged. I will never use this company and highly...
