Chester's Chicken — Restaurant in Racine

AMAZING CHICKEN!!! Okay now that I have your attention let me tell you if you're getting your chicken from Popeye's, KFC, or one of the many grocery stores in the area than you need to STOP because Chester's Chicken is now on Lathrop avenue!!! And they have so much more to offer I don't know where to begin so let's start with the no wait time as soon as you enter they have a beautiful display of many of their menu items that are hot and FRESH very important lol that are ready to go if you're in Rush or don't feel like waiting in a long Drive through line and speaking to a box or even worse looking for a good spot in a parking lot and having to walk through the produce section just to order your and if you're upset that KFC no longer has potato wedges well Chesters does and they are the BEST!!! because they DOUBLE fry them which makes them extra crunchy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside plus they put honey butter on top of their biscuits and you have to try them you just have two especially if you like a crusty top plus they also offer sides like mashed potatoes and gravy along with mac and cheese which are two very important items when ordering chicken. Along with amazing food something that is very important to me is customer service and the employees there were all very kind and polite and we're patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind because everything just looked so good. Finally let's get to the chicken Chester's Chicken is so good you cannot eat this stuff standing up because your knees will buckle I don't know what they put in their seasonings or how they make the skin so crispy and delicious but I don't care as long as they don't stop by the way don't forget to get the Chester sauce it's their signature sauce and it really completes the meal so I look forward to my next visit and would like to thank the incredible staff at Chester's for the great service and hope others will have the opportunity to...

I got the 16 piece meal.fries and biscuits. When I told him it was my first time trying it I was given a free item made fresh as it gets. I got there at open and everything was as hot and fresh as it gets. I wanted to love this place. But the flavor of the chicken was underwhelming. Hot and perfectly made but underperforming. The breading on the potato wedges is top notch, however bland to taste. Needs a flavor profile upgrade. The biscuits actually shined brightest. Nice honey and butter flavor. the texture isn't my style but I don't take away for it at all. I've had better Chester across town. They are trying very hard to be successful. A+ for effort. Well, the owners of Chester's on State Street have no reason to fear THIS competition. I ordered here (over the phone) for the first (and apparently, LAST) time tonight, figuring it would be comparable to the Chester's on State. Nope. First off, I ordered a six piece dinner. The gentleman who took my order didn't tell me THEY DON'T OFFER them here. So when I arrived 10-15 minutes later, I was surprised by what he (did and didn't) put in the bag.
