Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Racine

Update - 6/29/25: We just had our new favorite drink from Dairy Queen…. The Orange Cream Shake! WOW!!! It was delicious! ———// Update - 8/29/22: Again... We love Dairy Queen! We probably go there too much... but in my opinion you can NEVER have too much Dairy Queen. My wife and I both got Blizzards... our favorite! Update - 7/20/22: Rather than using the drive-thru... this time we went to the walk-up window. If you Googled the words "mass confusion", this Dairy Queen would pop up. There were 6 or 7 people working in a space about 12 feet x 8 feet... all on one side of the room by the drive-thru window. At one point there was no one taking orders and there 8 people standing in line outside. Luckily the 3 or 4 people actually working were pretty fast... polite and friendly. Ordered Turtle sundae, got home and noticed when my 10yr old was eating it that it was chocolate shell not fudge and there was no Carmel, drove ten minutes back up there to be argued with. First they said it was half eaten ( there were three bites taken) then he said that's what a turtle sundae consists of. I bought from here three days earlier and order a turtle on that occasion too, noticed the kid that made it was working and I asked him what a turtle has on it and his reply was "Sir I'm not getting in the middle of it" Finnally the guy lies to me and says they don't have carmel sauce. He goes to the back to retrieve another gentlemen whom I assume is the manager, upon questioning him he tells me he doesn't work there and is very rude until he notices that I'm recording the whole interaction Eventually after 2min of arguing and then being ignored they made me an actual turtle sundae and told me next time I will not be refunded. Never been unsatisfied with DQ products until today. The customer service was great and the staff were very polite. Typically when we order blizzards the DQ staff usually holds it upside down to show how thick it is and they didn't do that today. One of the small blizzards we ordered was already melted almost like a creamy milk and my daughter was grossed out that she just covered it up and said she would freeze it when we got home. I asked for nuts on my banana split and typically the nuts that they put on a banana split are usually tiny and crushed. They actually put whole peanuts with the skin still on it which is kind of gross. I've never had that on my banana...
