I went to this location last week. I guess it was the manager, or senior employee, made a comment to 2 other employees about them being “High schoolers”… sounded like he was trying to belittle them b/c one forgot to add ham to a sandwich. I was embarrassed for him. He was the only one that laughed. No other customers laughed nor did the employees. The customer receiving the sandwich didn’t complain or get upset. The employee simply added the ham. I would hope we all went to high school. I didn’t care for his tone. Then I went this evening. I ordered a hot sandwich. The girl wrapped it up and laid it on the counter. Didn’t call my name or say this is yours. I had to ask. I asked if it had lettuce, mayo, etc. She flatly responded that it didn’t and next time to ask for it before hand. Wow. They blocked off the other side is the restaurant, so you couldn’t walk to the hot side, so I didn’t know my sandwich was finished. The way she took the sandwich back wasn’t friendly either. I asked could she just put my lettuce in a container. I didn’t want her to unwrap my sandwich with her demeanor. Normally the employee will ask and I’ll tell them lettuce, mayo, etc. Even if it is a hot sub. The food is good but some of their employees need customer service training. Normally the employees here are great (during lunch hours). Very...
Read moreUpdate*. I called the number left in the reply to this review & spoke to a manager who said she didn’t know what I was talking about. She also said the only review she saw was from a month ago & that she was sorry she couldn’t help me. I also forgot to mention that before I left the reviews I emailed customer service through My Jersey Mike’s account with all of the information from my receipt and I still haven’t heard anything back from that. Very on brand with why I left the review in the first place. It’s really disappointing to spend almost $10 on a half of sandwich with bread that resembled & taste like what I imagine stained plywood taste like. I really don’t understand why someone would serve that to a customer. Did you not feel it when you grabbed that brick that was supposed to be bread🤔 When I got home and unwrapped that plywood sandwich I was shocked & disgusted! What was I supposed to do sand it down before I bite into it? How does one find a way to mess up a Turkey sandwich. Oh I know…put the Turkey between old, stale, hard plywood like bread! I wish I could post the video so you can hear me knocking on it but it will only let me...
Read moreI visited May 16th at 7pm. The food was fine as usual, I always love Jersey Mike’s, but the service was terrible from two of the four employees working. The customer in front of me was waiting to order and not being acknowledged, so she stormed out. I was willing to wait but the female employee seemed very miserable in her job. She yelled at another staff member who yelled back “what?!” because he did not want to make my sandwich, but he did anyway. My husband did not order anything because he was grossed out by the meats behind the glass unwrapped, lying on top of each other. The area near the sodas and napkins had not been cleaned in a long time. The same female employee who was disregarding customers also was yelling back and forth at all the employees. She should probably be let go. The gentleman who worked the cash register this evening was very friendly and professional, however. Food was great but manager needs to view how today’s staff interacts with customers as all of us are having this experience. My husband will not eat at this...
