Whoa! Just hold on a sec, you should just go here. That is you should go if you like tacos, nachos and good basic cocktails. The food was good, the salsa was great (it does have a little kick on the end)!

I wish we had ordered the nachos, three people could easily split the platter that they are served on. The house made chips were great, they can come out hot! That little devil of a salsa was great, not so hot that you regret it but you just keep eating them even though they have a kick on the finish.

The cucumber and dill (that's what it tasted like) sauce on the burrito I had was a nice counter balance to the spicy salsa. My wife ordered the Hang Loose tacos, which they were fine. I felt like all the meats needed a little something, a little spice or char on them would be nice.

Now to the cocktails. We sat at the bar so we got a first hand look at what was going on back there. Let me tell you, when you order that daiquiri, that thing is made to order, no slushie machines here! One blender and a lot of ice! We had an on the menu margarita and on off menu tequila drink (I know how I like my tequila, so hush.) My wife's margarita was good, she downed it pretty quick so I assume it was good. My drink was a little on the rough side, but it was pretty darn busy, so I'm not holding that against them or anyone. (Never question your bartender when its busy!)

So sure, we will go back, especially for a $5 bloody mary at brunch time, maybe we will hit the nachos or quesadilla next time. Maybe stick to on the menu drinks or beer. But it will remind you of being at the beach on a busy July weekend, packed a little loud, but just the right amount of...

Went there this past weekend for the first time. It's a small, cozy bar and definitely captures the beach vibe that has been mentioned by others. I knew something was a little "off" when I got there, but couldn't put my finger on it.

It was quiet at the time, with only a couple people max, so we felt pretty safe spacing away from people in the little heated, mostly-enclosed patio area.

A few points of contention:

(1) I got the Gnarley nachos and was surprised they were covered in shredded cheese with none of it melted! Melted cheese is a hallmark of nachos everywhere. But I was hungry so I ate those $13 nachos. That withstanding, the dish didn't have the fresh ingredients feel I was looking for.

(2) The venue eventually got very crowded and it became difficult to space out from others. Thankfully we were almost done by the time the crowd came in, but there was no attempt made by the venue to keep customers safe and spaced out.

(3) I mentioned feeling something was slightly off. I later realized it's because NONE of the wait staff had on a mask. So not only are crowds being allowed to gather in such a small space throughout the day, but the wait staff who services all of these different crowds are putting anyone who comes into the bar at a huge risk by potentially spreading the virus throughout the day.

I know this is beach bar, but being relaxed in mindset doesn't mean you shouldn't try to keep your customers safe. It also makes me question what other corners in health and safety are being cut around.

I would not suggest going here until some changes have been made to create a safer...

Stopped in this place for a few tacos and drinks a few nights ago. Got to say I was very impressed! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was definitely better than I expected and never waited more than a few mins when ordering a drink.

Side note - had the pleasure of talking with the owner about his place and his life outside of his restaurant. Walked away that night very impressed with the business owner, but more so with the man. As a Marine, I was very moved by his support and compassion for the military and first responders. Simply put a damn good man - I’ll definitely be back LC.

Oh and 2nd note - I read a comment as a review “Blue lives don’t matter”. Nothing else was said, nothing about the man’s food, drinks or service. Just some computer coward sitting behind his phone. Some little cancel culture Karen with nothing better to do than try to hurt someone else’s livelihood.

My suggestion is next time go somewhere else or grow a pair and walk up to the owner and express your displeasure, instead of trying to hurt someone that is providing for his family and the employees that work for him.

Oh and BLUE LIVES AND ALL LIVES...

I visited this place for the first time and it was full of energetic ppl and the vibes were on point. The staff are very attentive and willing to ensure you're having a good time. This place has a small town feel to it where everyone knows someone or you're going to find out you went to school with some of the frequent flyers. The food was so very tasty which I ordered the Hawaiian tacos which are now my go to favorite. I owe this first time visit to the Owner who shared with us all after a tragic death of a good man, friend and servant to the community, this was NED BYRD'S hangout and he loved ppl. Dedicating a seat at the bar with Ned's favorite drinks and meal with a makeshift memorial ❤️ I was happy to have stopped by to meet such a wonderful group of people and have a drink and tacos in tribute to my fallen co-workers. Thanks Derek and (Christie's dad) for the awesome conversation and hospitality. Thank you Deputy Byrd 397 you're still having an impact on ppl, may your legacy live forever.

Great if you need a super casual and fairly fast spot for tacos and margs, for a reasonable price. Don’t go with more than 2-4 people (it’s a small space and no table seating, it’s all thin bar tops and stools scattered around inside/outside (heated in winter). The margs are $6-7 and 2-taco platters (with chips and salsa included) are $9-10. The salsa is some of the best I’ve had, the margs were a little sweet but good sized, and the tacos were delicious — our favorites were the steak tacos, but blackened fish and chicken ones were also decent.

This place is fantastic. I went for margaritas with my friends left and came back with my boyfriend for tacos (which were fanfrickintastic) and for me and him together with drinks and tacos with chips and salsa and queso it was under $70. Yabba dabba we've already been back, TWICE. Last night was music bingo. So fun! Ps. I've been back probably 100 times since I've posted this review. 1000/10 recommend time and time again. Tonight we had Haven as our server and she is absolutely amazing. She's attentive and has great banter.
