08/23 EDIT!!!! BEEN GOING HERE ON AND OFF FOR YEARS SINCE IT USED TO BE A FAIRLY DECENT NEIGHBORHOOD SPOT FOR BOGO BUT NOT ANYMORE!! CRAZY THING IS, THEY DON'T EVEN DO BOGO, AND THEN JACKED THEIR PRICES TO THE LIKES OF MUCH BETTER SUSHI RESTAURANTS LIKE M Sushi, Waraji, City Market Sushi, O-Ku, Kai Sushi & Sake bar, Koi Grill and Sushi, Sono Sushi, Asuka Asain Bistro, etc. WORST PART IS, IT'S BARELY COMPARABLE TO GROCERY STORE SUSHI, AND I JUST HAD TO MARINATE AND COOK MY SASHIMI JUST TO CHOKE IT DOWN DUE TO THE SMELL.. I also threw away my Fatty Tuna (Toro) because it tasted so bad. This is now 3 bad experiences in a row! I, my family, my friends, their family, their friends, and anyone we associate with will never eat at Tasu again. 11/21 - I happened to call into Tasu yesterday to order 18 rolls for a family members birthday, and Mandy answered the phone, who was awesome since she went above and beyond to help me with my order. I went in and ordered 10 specialty rolls and had 8 more customized, which they were happy to do with the types of fish, crab, vegetables, roe, sauces, etc. that I wanted. She was even kind enough to put all the sushi rolls on some nice disposable party platters and give me plenty of condiments and chopsticks for everyone. I ended up paying for the 10 rolls I ordered and she said once they figured out what other 8 rolls the chefs would make, I could come in and pay for the rest when I picked up the order. I went back in about an hour from the time I ordered, and they had just finished getting everything together for me to pick up... The food was awesome due to BOGO pricing, Mandy and Raul! You guys need a raise!! HOWEVER, when I went back in, she told me she ended up speaking to Sr. Management and they told her she should have charged me $5 dollars per plastic disposable take out plate, and that they could only do buy one get one free on up to 5 rolls (which would be 10 in total)?!?!?! She was also kind enough to let it slide under the radar since it's not what she and I originally discussed. THANK YOU, MANDY!!! What kind of person in management in their right mind let's people dine in or take out only up to 5 rolls when I probably paid for 1/5 of their total lunch sales today? What's the difference in getting buy 1, get one 1 free, and buying 20 and getting 20 free? The numbers are relative, so it's the same amount of money made...LMAO!!! I hate to say this because I rarely say negative things, but WHOEVER TOLD HER THAT IS A VILLAGE IDIOT! LOL 🤣🤣🤣. PLEASE COME BACK FROM THE STONE AGE AND USE YOUR BRAIN AGAIN! What if by telling me that (I live around the corner from you and come up all the time for sushi), I never returned to you since there are 20+ other places I can go to within 20 minutes and get as many BOGO roles as I want? Perhaps I should have gone to Akashi, Sushi-o, Ajisai, Sushi in the Park, Champa, Waraji, Koi, Kai Sushi, Orchid, Sushi Siam, Umami, Sushi Little Tokyo, Ko An, Susbi Mon, Sushi Nine Sushi One, Sushi Thai, Genji Sushi, Chai's Asian Bistro, Sake Bomb, Oiso Sushi, Hako Sushi, Vine Sushi, Sushi Love, Cowfish, Kurama, Sushi O, Yuri, Kashin, Masa Sushi, Sushi Blues, Hayashi, Wasabi Sushi, Chopsticks, O-Ku, Sono Sushi, City Market Sushi, Sushi Iwa, Mizu Sushi, Matsu, Asuka,Yamato, Akai Hana, and the list goes on and on and on... I'm sure if you don't want my money, everyone else would be happy to take it and accommodate me.. Would you really rather me take my $250 dollars somewhere else?!?!? I think if YOUR boss knew you told Mandy to tell me that, you would likely be reprimanded. FYI, I worked in the restaurant industry for close to 20 years as a waiter, bartender, line cook, classically trianed su chef, FOH, and Kitchen Manager and I would never tell a customer something like that, treat them like that, or make them feel like their money didn't matter me. People like me (your customers) are the reason why you are in business! Shame on the person who told Mandy to tell me that! I hope corporate or the company owners replace you for being so simple-minded.

Came here with high expectations AND was not disappointed. This is an Asian Fusion Restaurant with a wide variety of dishes from Pho to Ramen. From what I saw on the menu, it looked like it was a mix of Japanese and Vietnamese dishes. I already had an idea of what I wanted, so I wasn’t able to get a good look at the rest of the menu. Food: I tried the Pork Ramen and I’m very selective with how I like it. I like my Pork with a nice sear, and thats exactly how they cooked it. The broth was not too salty and the mix of veggies added a unique touch I enjoyed. The Thai Tea on the side made it the perfect meal. Very fresh and flavorful. The price was good for the amount and quality of the meal. Customer Service: All the staff were kind and attentive. It was a bit annoying that our food took a while to be served, but understandable given the amount of people there. Nitpicks: Atmosphere is 4/5 because for some reason doors were locked when we got there (during mid day) and the seating arrangement was a bit strange. We asked for a table for two, and had to walk down a long hallway which was kind of tedious (especially when really hungry) when there was plenty of room elsewhere. The booth was nice and comfortable in a well lit area where we can have a nice conversation. Final thoughts: Great place to try some Asian Cuisine. The building layout of the restaurant is strange, so it’d be hard for the elderly, or person with limited mobility to navigate through. It’ll take some time for your food to arrive, so keep that in mind. Try to look at the menu beforehand (see photos posted by other reviewers). If you’re looking for an Asian Fusion cuisine I recommend you give my order a try!

We came back to this Tasu location for the first time in quite a long time and were disappointed. The surrounding parking lots were slammed on a Saturday around 6 PM so I called for the wait time. The first time they hung up on me immediately. The second time I called back they put me on hold as soon as they said hello. I went inside to find 3 people standing at the podium, 1 of which asked how many just to defer to a 4th person (who I assumed was the manager) who then asked the same thing. I was then able to be seated by a 5th person and receive drinks before the folks at the podium hung up (10 minutes later). I understand that things can get crazy when you're busy... but we were seated immediately, there were multiple open tables and at least one individual was at the podium the entire time I was there. The gyoza we received was cold despite being pan seared and on a hot plate; which was covered with tons of silverware scuffs. I had attempted to order one set of rolls from the front of the menu and one set from the back but the waiter gave me the impression that you couldn't mix and match so I ended up with 2 from the front/BOGO menu. The presentation was pretty meh and my plate didn't have the Ginger/Wasabi while another at the table did. There wasn't enough good in the food/experience for me to return.

10/12/23 Around 7:00 PM Experience:

So we come here all the time. I always bring friends and family here.

Last night we were sat in the back dinning area which was really small and tight.

Our waitress ( Trang) didn’t seem very interested in serving our table. She literally walked around the dining area a filled every tables water, except for ours.

It was hard to get her attention. Even in a small space.

After we received our plates, I tried asking a hostess ( she may have been a server , I'm not sure) a question about which vegetables are supposed to come in the Hibachi combo. My daughter had ordered this dish in the past and felt that more of a variety of vegetables came with it. It wasn’t a big deal, we were just checking.

This had to be the RUDEST hostess I have ever met. She had blonde hair and wore it in a pony tail. I wish I knew her name. She too seemed disinterested in helping. She literally didn’t answer my question and walked off, as if I had bothered her. I asked her as she was WALKING OFF if she could bring me a MENU so I could look for myself to see which vegetables come with the Hibachi Combo. She literally quickly handed me the menu and walked quickly away.

The hostess turned a simple question into an ordeal.

My Albacore Tuna and Salmon rolls came out looking not very appetizing. Someone had put a sauce on them and then taken it off. You could see the sauce tracks. The presentation was awful. And it didn’t taste the way it normally tasted to me.

Because I was with guests, I didn’t want to make a big deal of it so I just asked our waitress to take it off the bill. The entire rolls was uneaten. However, my waitress made a big deal of it and appeared to have an attitude.

Then she called over the manager who further added to the already awkward moment in front of my guests.

Then to top it off, our server mistakenly charges my bill to one of my guests credit cards , after I had already paid for my bill in cash.

Overall it was an awful experience. However, I really enjoyed my guests and I’m glad that we are all light hearted people who didn’t allow the experience to kill our vibe and laughter.

But this is...

After the service we received today, I would give it less than one star if I could. My husband and mother and I went for dinner. We got there around 3:45 pm, it was pretty busy for a Sunday. It took the lady who came to take our drink order about 10 minutes to come over and take the order. Then another 10 minutes for our waiter to come and take our meal order. We ordered 2 tuna tartars, an Asian feast with hibachi steak and a chicken tempura, and a shrimp tempura. They came with salads and a soup. We had to ask our waiter 2 or more times what was taking so long on our salad. It was now 4:50, and we had NO food just drinks. About five minutes after, they come out with our tuna tartare, and the salads and soup come about a minute after that. We finally ask the waiter to bring the manager, and she blames everything on having a new chef who doesn't know what he's doing.

People who came in 30 minutes after us had their sushi and entrees already. 20 minutes after our appetizers and salads came out, the entrees come out. It is now 5:00 pm, and we already have a bad taste in our mouths about this place.

I begin eating my Chicken tempura, it's okay, I've had better. My mom begins to eat her Shrimp tempura, which came with broccoli . The batter around the broccoli is RAW, and the center of the shrimp was cold. She refused to eat anymore of her entree fearing she would get food poisoning from the chef's negligence. My husband finds a black hair in his rice, none of us at the table have black hair.

The manager comped us half the bill, and seemed as if that fixed everything. We did not want to risk the chef screwing up again and get remakes of our food. My opinion is that they should have never put an inexperienced chef in their kitchen.
