While I tend to have a generally good experience at chick-fil-a, my recent visit to this location was eye-opening to say the least. We went through the drivethru and the service was fine up until the employee at the window handed us our food and drink and we grabbed it from him, and then he told us the name/order while it was in our hands, which we informed him was incorrect, he took the food back from us, handed us our correct order, and proceeded to give the previous order to the car behind us.
During a pandemic.
After we had touched it.
When we handed the food back, I asked the two employees in the drive thru if that was sanitary to even ask for the food back at that point... to which I was ignored by the two employees. I asked it again and was told to keep the drink and ignored about an actual response to my question of the sanitary issue of the food they took back. I don't care what they did with the food as long as they didn't serve it to someone else, even if they threw it away. If I were the customer in the car behind me, I would be absolutely livid if they let someone else touch my food and hand it to me like nothing happened instead of remaking or rewrapping the food during a pandemic that is KILLING people.
It's your responsibility as a business establishment to ensure the safety and health of your patrons as well as your employees to the best of your ability, especially during a public health crisis like a pandemic. I'm fairly certain something as simple as, "once food has left the kitchen area or an employees hands, it is not to be reserved to any guest ever" would suffice and would benefit everyone in...
Read moreAnother terrible experience at the same Chick-fil-A location. The culture at this location has substantially worsened as of late. I submitted a complaint regarding this location's inability to balance speed of service with friendliness & professionalism as the staff is in such a rush that customer satisfaction is lost. Today, after placing a mobile order a short, young girl in the drive thru line attempted to repeat my order as we were pulling up to the car in front of us. As we are in motion with me sitting in the passenger seat, it is unclear to me why the associate thought that I would be able to fully hear her repeat the order while both she & my vehicle was in movement. When asked to repeat the order, she did so abruptly & without care as she neglected to advise as to the size of the fries & drink. I asked her to state the sizes, & thereafter, asked her if she had the 8 count nuggets & kids meal. She responded facetiously by saying that that was the 1st thing that she said. I asked her if she was being facetious as her response & tone was rude. She then replied that she has only repeated herself 5 times. At this juncture, I no longer have the desire to return to this location which is the closest to my home & is in the area that I frequent the most. Never have I experienced this level of unprofessionalism at any Chick fil a. With respect to service, Chick fil a has been one of the few companies that has set the bar but this location is quickly undermining...
Read moreI recently visited Chick-fil-A (as almost every single day) and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
I ordered a simple large sweet tea and ended up waiting for an astonishing 18 minutes before receiving my order. To make matters worse, the staff member informed me that they had “lost my order” It's quite baffling how an order can be lost, especially for an item as straightforward as a sweet tea.
Beyond the frustrating wait, I'd like to express my disappointment with Chick-fil-A's new "only drive thru customers will be satisfied" approach.
While catering to the convenience of drive-thru customers is important, it seems that the new system has come at the expense of those who prefer dining in.
Now, every time I visit, I find myself waiting an unnecessarily long time for my food, all because the focus seems to be primarily on pleasing the drive-thru customers.
As a loyal customer who used to enjoy the quick and efficient service at Chick-fil-A, I'm disheartened by the decline in quality and attention to dine-in customers. While I understand the need to adapt to changing consumer preferences, it's important to strike a balance that maintains the satisfaction of all patrons.
I hope Chick-fil-A takes these concerns to heart and considers ways to improve their service for both drive-thru and dine-in customers. I believe in the potential for a positive change that can bring back the exceptional dining experience that Chick-fil-A was...
