The staff is incredibly nice. The food, however, is BLAND. My husband and I have eaten here quite a few times and every time it's the same. On our most recent visit, I had grilled chicken, cabbage and fried squash. He had chop steak, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese (watery- literally noodles and watery cheese sauce). Every single item we ordered was BLAND. No taste at all. Also, my grilled "chicken" was not real chicken.. it was disgusting! Almost plastic like. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Anybody can fire a grill up and cook a meal but not every restaurant has the ability to have good customer service! My first time coming to this restaurant and I stood in line waiting for at least 5 mins while the waitresses stood around talking. My food was sitting there getting cold! Spent $8 on garbage. I will NEVER return here. To add, the place wasn’t even crazy busy. No excuses. A good restaurant with managers with good character would make this right. The vegetables soup seem to have been preheated from previous day’s leftover. It was greasy, cold, slimy, and had no taste. But I was not charged. The waitress apologized. The eggs and beacon, cook to my perfection. One of the eggs served to my wife had egg shells. But she said the biscuit and gravy was great. Decaf was just right.
