Halal Cali Kabob & Gyro grocery store & restaurant — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I asked for two meat skewers they said they could do it and offered me two flavors. I said I’ll take both and pay extra if need be. They said if I wanted rice and other stuff to make it a meal I said no thank you just the meat skewers. And then they proceeded to charge me $13 for this plate here in the photo. It was very underwhelming I should have just gone to Petra downtown. I was told it would take 15 minutes and it took 35-40. I was literally their only customer. I went in after 20 minutes and there was no one at the front I kinda raised my voice asking if anyone was there. And then no response so I sat down played games on my phone and then about another 20 minutes later I got my food. I assumed it would be fresh and maybe too a bit longer for that. I live 5 minutes from there I got home and it was stone cold and the meat was dry. Seems like the teenager was the only person working there and wasn’t paying attention just hanging out in the back. This place is soo good! We got the Beef and lamb Gyro with fries, first of all, i usually get scared of crinkle cut fries, because most of the time they are soggy. This place doesn’t disappoint though, the fries were crispy and the seasoning on them was SO GOOD. The gyro was filled to the max and was delicious as well.
