I would have to say that answering the question " How was Starbucks" is a bit like saying how was McDonalds. Let me explain, Corporate Chain restaurants, Dollar Stores, Denny's all those cookie cutter enterprises must all strive for one goal, to be exactly the same no matter what patch of earth they occupy. So with that in mind, if you are a fan of Starbucks, that is to say if you can't wait for Monday morning so you can have your glucose levels riding sky high at a cost that makes crude oil by the barrel look like a bargain then you have found Eureka! Please don't misunderstand me as Starbucks go it was 5 star all the way. I'm not sure how they do it, but I swear even the barista was an identical twin to the one I left 48 min ago in Placerville. It was definitely deja vu for this caffeine junkie. I unfortunately have to close now, it's Monday morning and I have to drive to Sacramento. It's a long commute, being I live and work in Placerville. I take the long way so I can get in 23 more stops in at Starbucks. From all my commuting I've learned "Starbucks on every corner", gas station restrooms.?...... Well...
Read moreThis is not my preferred location but sometimes on my way to work, I will stop in here. This is by far the slowest, least professional Starbucks in the Sacramento area. They always get my order wrong when I come in here or mix my order up with someone else's. They always have new people that can't seem to work the register. On this particular day, I ordered a grande hot tea. They gave me one tea bag, and no cup holder, handed me a burning hot cup of tea. Any Starbucks regular knows you get 2 tea bags for a size grande and above. When I questioned them about it, they were polite enough to tell me that the store manager told them to only give one tea bag unless customers ask for it (purposely cheating customers out of what they're paying for). If you're in the nearby area pass this location up and drive a few more miles to a more...
Read moreChill little spot with a lot of foot traffic. I wish they had to drive through at this location, but they don't. They're open at 4:30 a.m. and I really pretty good with getting my drink order correct. I realized on this last mix up that it was actually the way I ordered my drink that was the problem so try to have patience with them here because they're quite understanding. They've made my drinks and no cost to me and we're joyous to do so. There's a good amount of room here for working with inside and patio seating available. Lots of parking available as well. I go here often mostly because of the location to my house, but if they weren't any good, I wouldn't mind traveling a...
