I gave 1 star so the impact would be evident. We used the drive thru and were told to park in stall 1 to await our order. There was another car parked in 1 so we parked in stall 2. I was concerned that when they brought the order out they would give it to the person in the stall next to us, so when we saw a person come out with an order and approach the other car, we rolled down our window. When the person seemed confused speaking with the person in the next stall, we asked if they possibly had our order.
Once she read the order it was confirmed it was ours. I initially asked if she was looking for the order in stall 1 and her reply was, "I don't know where people are parked." This should have been my first indicator of bad service. The kids were hungry so we drove home right away, not thinking about there potential incompetence of the crew we didn't check our order.
When we arrived home we were missing 3 items. We live 10 min away so I jumped back in the car to go get the items they left off the order. On my way I called to let them know what we were missing and that I was on my way back. Jay, the self reported manager, informed me I would need the bag with all the contents to prove items were missing. I asked how a bag with missing items proves that to him. I understand it proves this to me, but it's irrational to have this logic as proof when he has no idea what was placed in the bag in the first place. So basically he is telling me if I return with one fry he'll fill up my bag with the remaining items worth $40?
I informed Jay that I left the food at home so the kids could eat, it didn't make sense to have them hungry because they filled the order incorrectly. Jay again says he needs the bag with everything, we did that round a few times me trying to figure out his logic (clearly lacking). I finally ask Jay what would happen if I had brought back the entire order. Jay shared he would pull everything out and check what was missing and replace the missing items. Again, logic lacking, I told him he can't replace something which was never there. He said he would give me the missing items, more issues with this one, I payed so I told him he wasn't giving me anything, I paid for these items.
I finally did a recap with Jay to make sure I understood: he wanted me too bring back the part of the order they actually got correct, at which time he would have proof of what was missing by touching all our food (great COVID strategy by the way Jay) then provide me with the items missing. I can take the cold food home to feed my family (not getting fresh food from this manager) with awesome COVID infected food Jay was so kind to provide.
Not happy with this experience and I don't...
Read moreI come to this McDonald’s all the time it’s in my neighborhood. I’ve had issues here and there with this McDonald’s, but it’s nothing serious enough to complain about. Except for tonight. I took my son through the drive-through to get him a happy meal. I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal with extra fries and an apple juice I paid went to the other window. They handed me a happy meal. I didn’t think twice about it I just kind of left as I’m passing the register window. I opened up the happy to make sure everything was as it should be. The toy was opened and already put together. There were apple slices in there. There was a four piece chicken nugget box that was in there and a large fry container that was barely filled. I didn’t think twice about it. I was just going to keep it because the lines were long and they were really busy and I didn’t want to bother them and to me was a simple mistake and my son could’ve eaten the chicken nugget , but as I went to grab the fries, they were cold and soggy so I checked the chicken nugget box and opened it and there was ketchup on the inside one whole nugget and one other nugget in there that was eaten already So needless to say, I’m grossed out a little Frustrated so I go back through and wait through the long lines. I get to the first window and explain the situation and she says OK go to the next window. They’ll help you. I get to the next window and I’m starting to explain what happened and he just immediately grabs the chicken nugget box out of the t happy meal box and throws it in the trash and says oh yeah here’s your cheeseburger. I said yes that was a cheeseburger I was like but there’s also half fries in here and he said OK. I’ll just get you fries and that was it. I ordered a vanilla cone which I paid for but needless to say I am a little frustrated and disappointed with a customer service overall, the fact that you have given me someone else’s eaten trashed meal and did nothing to rectify it. Besides, give me the order that I should’ve been given in the first place was ridiculous. I have never been given trash before it’s like they dug it out of the trash and just handed it to me because it was appalling. I may just have to go the extra 10 minutes to another McDonald’s because they didn’t even take the box back. They just pulled out what they were going to throw away and left the half eaten fries in my box and then put together toy. What they should’ve done was refunded my order and given me what I originally ordered to rectify the situation but none of those things happen. Nothing happened. I still have the original box with the original half eaten fries somebody else...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came into the drive thru to order some dinner since I just got off of work. Order our food. We were asked to go into stall 2 cause our food wasnt ready yet. We asked for sweet and sour sauce. We got our food no complaints besides we were missing a sauce for our fries. We got home after my long day at work. Eating the food and then I taste the soda. It tasted odd. Like the syrup was empty. I was starving. My bf and I finished our food and he gave me half of his soda. It was not even 12 yet he drove back to the drive thru and wanted another soda or two since the syrup was out. She wasnt understanding him. Keep saying sorry little English. He asked for someone else and she like sorry no one else. He asked for a manager and yet no one was gonna help. She finally understood and gave us only one drink. Nothing else to confiscate our time driving back and then having to deal with someone who wasnt understanding him back and forth. Slammed the door and locked it and said no cant get you another drink. The amount of disrespect we got here is outrageous. We live close to this one and hope the next visit will be different. I understand working at fast food isnt easy but pleasing the customer is. We are no longer going here no more for sure since they want to be hella rude. If you don’t like your job work somewhere else. Talking about Night shift since we always came at...
