DN Top Donuts — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

Love this place, and the people are very nice. Tastes much better and cleaner than Krispy Kreme to me, which use a bunch of intimidating science ingredients. this place has been around as long as i can remember, probably more than 25 years. Back when el ranchero across the lot was some sort of Asian restaurant serving glass noodles. But I will make it a point to come here more often and support a local business when i need my sugar fix

Everything they make here is really good, I usually get original glazed and they never disappoint. Someone was complaining about the limited selection but i think it's fine. Just appreciate what they have and they do it well. The prices are also excellent. Cash works better here from what I remember in the past, didn't want to pay a debit card fee. I got back onto this place after buying some of their donuts from the water store down the street by the stater bros grocery store. They sell them there and at least you can get some there since this shop closes a bit early...

Went there around 11ish because I was craving a ham and cheese croissant. The lady behind the counter told me they were all sold out. But then points to the wall and tells me I can have the number 7. It was a ham and cheese croissant. She makes it and then I go to pay for it and she tells me it's $7.95. I said what it says $4 on your wall right there. She says no no that one different. I asked what's the difference. She says the $4 ones are pre made and already wrapped up. So my understanding is because she had to make it, it cost more. I was so upset that I almost just walked out of there with nothing. I told her that that's not right at all. I moved to SoCal just over a year ago and have tried many donut shops since my move. DN Top Donuts is the best! The donuts are soft and fresh and almost melt in your mouth. My favorite donut has always been a simple sugar donut. And DN has perfected it. I've now been to this little donut shop several times and I've tried the chocolate bar, the maple bar, the blueberry turnover, and a chocolate cake donut as well, and all of them are of the same high quality of freshness and deliciousness.
