Dishes we ordered: All their sides (house salad w balsamic vinaigrette, caesar salad, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, and regular fries, jalapeno chips), westside burgers (2), chicken club, crispy chicken sandwich, pastrami sandwich.
Thoughts: overall, excellent burgers and sandwiches. They have a solid take on old classics. I loved their crispy chicken sandwich. The ingredients are fresh and good quality: pickles are crunchy, veggies are clearly fresh and prepared recently, meat is actual meat (e.g. chunks of chicken breast as opposed to processed chicken). truffle fries were best among the fries, but fries were a little too dry/fried for me. For the side salads, they were surprisingly good. I like that they didnt drown my house salad in dressing (I like it light), but the caesar was more seasoned which my niece enjoyed. Probably didn't need to get the jalapeno chips. I needed them for spice but wish i could get hot sauce or some pickled peppers (they did provide house made salsa but it wasn't strong enough). Also wish they mentioned in advance which sides were allowed upgrades on their menu in advance, pricing, and a more clear drinks menu.
Other things I liked: Outdoor seating area. Lots of spots, clean tables. Wait time was very reasonable for made to order food, esp. for a party of five. They also got us all our food out at the same time so there wasn't awkward waiting around. Customer service was good; polite, responsive, and hospitable. Bathroom was clean.
Tl;dr: solid burgers and sandwiches. Salads are good. Fries a little dry/texture is off, but truffle fries best...
Read moreThis non-descrip establishment is a gem in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Located in a strip mall next to a Del Taco could be easily missed if you’re not looking for it. But when you do you’re in for one of the most phenomenal burgers you will ever have. I kid you not. The place looks like it was opened up by a bunch of best buddies that have a love for burgers and decided to share that love with us. Lucky is!
Menu isn’t extensive, buy when you have a solid list of burgers you don’t need a lot on the menu.
Our family was coming back from the day at the mountains playing in the snow and we were absolutely starving. My wife being the Yelp detective found this location and I’m so grateful she did because we were in for a treat.
Seriously everything on their burger menu is delicious. With five of us we ordered a good portion of the burger selection. I’ve never sat at a table and it was silent and all you hear are mmmm’s from everyone. We also ordered the jalapeño chips, it’s a highly recommended side dish because it’s amazing. Not too spicy and the batter is just right, not overly battered where you lose the taste of the actual item under it.
Daughter 1 ordered the West Side burger. Daughter 2 ordered the jalapeño burger; she literally inhaled that burger. My son and ordered the cheese steak burger and my wife ordered the Hills burger. Words can’t describe how god these burgers were you have to experience it yourself. Trust.
If you’re craving burgers don’t go to a chain. Support small businesses and give these guys a try. You will...
Read moreYesterday, I embarked on a quest for a burger that would shatter the mundane chains of fast-food monotony. The epic journey led me to this hidden gem, discovered via a lightning-fast Google search while hurtling through traffic. The object of my desire: the breakfast burger, a mythical creation that had taunted me through tantalizing online images.
Dear reader, brace yourself for the revelation – I was NOT disappointed! This burger, the breakfast symphony in a bun, danced on my taste buds like a culinary maestro orchestrating a flavor extravaganza. My wife, too, surrendered to the charms of the West Side burger, creating a duo of ecstasy that rivaled a dynamic culinary power couple.
Our guide through this gastronomic wonderland was a gentleman of impeccable politeness, a maître d'burger if you will. His courteous demeanor added a sprinkle of charm to an already delightful experience. As I sit here today, contemplating the mysteries of the universe, my primary quandary revolves around the order in which I shall conquer the remaining burgers and sandwiches that grace their menu. It's a struggle akin to choosing between magical potions, each promising a unique and enchanting journey for my taste buds.
Funny how life works – just when I thought the pinnacle of my week was a song I co-wrote and performed gracing the soundtrack of a colossal video game franchise, along comes a burger that dethrones it. Move over, musical accomplishments; there's a new hero in town, and it's nestled between two perfectly...
