Kickback Jack's — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

My friends and I were in the Montclair area and we tried to find a spot. But my friend's girlfriend recommended Kickback Jack's for brunch. I came in with low expectations because from the outside it looked like your typical breakfast diner. The entree that I ordered blew my mind, the belgian waffle was perfectly crispy and soft on the inside. Unfortunately, I was vegetarian today but everything that my friends got that was meat looked delicious and smelled amazing. They said that their entrees were phenomenal. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Normally, I take photos but we were so hungry and the smell coming from our entrees distracted us from snapping a photo.

My husband and I will get out of town to Rancho at least twice a year. We live in Carson, California and Rancho is a beautiful city filled with beautiful shops and things to do. We both love to eat and love homestyle restaurants. My husband's coworker recommended Kick Back Jacks. I admit I was skeptical, however, we decided give it a try. On both occasions, we chose a Sunday. The wait was a bit long, but well worth it. The atmosphere was busy, but the customer service and accommodation provided by the staff was awesome! It amazed me how our orders were exactly what we wanted. The coffee and refills were flowing. Our server never forgot about us. In addition to that, our server was knowledgeable of the menu choices and flavors. Now to the the quality, flavor, and overall satisfaction of our food; SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I ordered the Turkey Avocado bacon sandwich, hubby ordered the chicken Sandwich. Again, SO FREAKING GOOD!!! The chicken sandwich was flavorful and I didn't have to wait in line for a popeye's bs chicken and biscuit. Hahahaha! Hands down, breakfast, lunch and early dinner will be worth every dime and bite. Okay so ive been here about 3 times, first two were AMAZING. It was about a year since i went and decided to go a few weeks ago and the changes they made 👎🏾 First every thing is in smaller portions, flap jacks are smaller, drinks etc... i asked and was told because most the food was being wasted, but if your charging the same price why does it matter? Second, i overheard the manager yelling at my server why wasnt there order in and its like because lady i asked her to give us a few minutes. I feel like because of that every minute she would come ask are you ready are you ready?! Which is annoying and makes you feel rushed. And as a guest we shouldn't be exposed of a manager talking down on their worker, especially since she was a good server! Lastly, im not sure if they got a new cook but the food quality was not as good. Not even close, the flavors were gone. And make sure you eat it all there cause it does not heat up well.
