First off I would say there is nothing wrong with the food my issue is with the service. I ordered through ChowNow on 8/09 and the fish and chips which is advertised to come with criss cut fries and allows you to add up to two sides for an additional cost. I chose the criss cut fries and added their homemade chips for an additional $4 :however, when I picked my order up I was missing the fries. Before leaving the restaurant I called to inquire on the missing fries and advised the young lady answering the phone of the issue she left me on hold for over 20 minutes and never returned. I called back and was told she was waiting for the manager to speak to me, I asked to just have my fries to go so we can leave to which she agreed, another almost 30 minutes later I went in the restaurant after not receiving anything and explained my concerns to the manager Edgar who told me I had ordered incorrectly and I explained to him how it was presented on the site and Edgar “rudely”dismissed me saying he would look into it saying again that it was my mistake! And walked off to serve his other customers! Again this is not an issue with the food; however, that is not how you treat customers period. I am all for patronizing my local restaurants in and out of this pandemic but that is not how you treat people and expect them to return. Very poor customer service From the Manager none the less. Good food. Good drinks. Decent prices. Ny steak is very small for $26 dollars. Not worth that price; very thin. Margaritas frozen are so worth the price. Friendly and personable staff. Terrible parking, you have to park in the adjacent strip mall. No single scene here at all. It's mostly married couples, date night out for married couples and groups of jock type men who sit AT THE BAR so if you are single and want other singles around you, don"t come here. If you want a family, local, atmosphere with locals from suburbia, it's for you. Just really boring at the bar if you are walking in alone and want a singles vibe or even mixed couples and singles. It's like the entire local suburban neighborhood comes here to celebrate their suburban accomplishment lol. Nothing wrong with that, but as a single, I'm wanting other singles around too, but it's not really a bar. It's a restaurant for families and locals that just happens to have a bar in it. Without the bar, it would be Applebee's or Big Boys. So I hope this review was balanced. Clean bathrooms. And at least the locals are chill. I'd head down the road to a different bar if you walk in alone as here it's staring as if to ask with their suburban married eyes, why are YOU HERE, SINGLE PERSON! haha One recommendation is to maybe diversify that menu. I just moved to the area, my girlfriend and i finally had a day off together , found this place on yelp. Decided to to check it out because it has pretty good reviews and looks really nice. Walked in was busy so we thought we had found a really good spot. We were taken to a our table quickly, and a waitress came to take take our drink order, (she was very nice) brought us our beers and made some recommendations for the burgers. We order the cheese plate and our burgers, was surprised how fast the food came out. Normally that would be a good thing, the cheese plate was ok, but our burgers were lukewarm and my by bun was soaked in grease, i never send food back, i did here. We order a second round of beers we had hanger 24 orange wheat, my girls beers was not that, the waitress swore it was i still had a little in my glass and it was obviously not it. We had to send that back and the same thing was brought out 😕. Sent that back and just ordered a diff beer. Overall just a bad experience maybe it was just a off night, who knows ?
