I had the misfortune of trying the beef taco and asada burrito today after living nearby my entire life.
The beef taco was an overly chewy unchopped unseasoned insult of a taco. A grey hunk of un-shredded meat that tastes of gentrification itself. Pleasing aesthetic and crunchy texture but awfully disappointing experience you immediately regret once you sink your teeth into it.
The asada meat consists of absolutely bland squares of brown gum. The burrito lazily filled with your run of the mill refried beans, sour cream, and what I assume should be fresh avocado (I couldn't tell) .
Now there is nothing wrong with a California style burrito as burritos aren't Mexican. But this burrito is a disappointment to all Californians. As a Mexican myself id rather have del taco than these tacos. At least their del scorcho sauce is delicious and they dont pretend to call themselves a Mexican restaurant.
I seriously have no clue why this place has any business when del taco is across the street. Even their burritos are more flavorful.
Their tomato soup sauce or as they call it, "salsa" barely makes the food palatable enough to keep eating just so you don't waste any food.
Eat at del taco if you are feeling like eating fake tacos. At least...

My son didn't say anything because he doesn't like to complain but when I noticed he wasn't enjoying his food I had to speak up for him. We made the waitress aware and she said she can "heat it up for him." My husband suggested him get a new one or something else. She said no because he already ate some and that we should've let her know sooner that it was cold. ( it shouldn't have been cold in the first place) She took his burrito plate and reheated it, brought it back and it no longer looked appetizing. We left it there and don't plan to return there again. Now I have to stop somewhere else and buy something else that is properly prepared. Smh
[By the way I had purchased bean cheese and rice and only got...
Read moreWent to Tios tonight purchased nachos for over $7.00. When I got them, the plate was so small and not worth the price. The nachos look like something I could have made at home but better since the chips were soggy, cheese over melted and it didn't taste good at all. When I went up to get something else, the worker was not pleasant at all and didn't offer me anything. I told her I wanted a taco and flautas. She did not see if the price for my two items were less or not. When those items can to the table the other worker was not pleasant either. No smiles at all and no apologies, it was like I was a bother. I went up to say I know my replacement items were less and I was shocked that they didn't even give me the difference in price. They did then but still no apologies. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!! I've been going here over 10...
