This is by far the worst coffee shop that I have ever been to in my entire life. The coffee is expensive and the food is even pricier. They are charging $10 for a far below average dessert or pastry. However, that is not even the worst part about this dosgrace of a coffee shop. There is no sense of organization and we waited over an hour in total for a cup of coffee because they were losing almost everyone's orders and once we finally got ours it wasnt even close to being hot. One man we saw also waited over an hour and they had called out there order in 5 different parts until they received all of it. The next time we went they were slightly faster but they didnt inform us that they were out of the muffin we ordered until it was not given to us with our order. In addition, the quesadilla that they charged $17 for was burned. Several of the employees that we saw we standing around or ignoring our requests for a box since we requested the order to go. In summary, the service at this restaurant is unacceptable for a 5 star resort and it is truly shocking to me that the reviews are here are so positive after seeing almost every other customer that we were around be thoroughly disappointed and/or frustrated with this disgrace of a...

Great snack and sundry shop at the beautiful Terranea Resort. Sea Beans is a much better café than your normal chain coffee shop. This café offers a variety of high quality quick snacks, coffees, and smoothies from early morning to evening. with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating just outside the resort reception area. The snack offerings cover the range from healthy foods (wraps, fruits, etc.) to sweets (scones, cupcakes, cookies, gelato, etc.). I was very impressed with their sweets, generally high quality and sometimes specialty-level design, like with some of their cupcakes. The avocado toast was quite interesting and good but a little hard to eat. The egg-white wrap was filling and healthy but too bland. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was moist and thick. The large iced coffee was very good coffee but a smaller size than I expected for the cost. I would give this a moderate value rating; the prices were a bit high, but not overly so. Move over, expected mediocre resort coffee shops—Sea Beans is remarkable and better than most standalone cafes or bakeries! The coffee here is great, but the food and chocolate are truly exceptional!
