This used to be my favorite place until several months ago when I stopped buying food there because of customer service and the prices are different from the outdoor menu than the price given. So, when I came to visit on 9/29/19 around 1:00 pm at my child’s request, customer service was the same. A blonde girl appeared to be offended that I mentioned that the prices are different on the menu. I am aware that she has no control over it but I felt that it was good for her to know if other customers were confused and maybe she could have shared it with management. Instead, she stated that taxes were added. The price was a dollar difference and taxes are a given but I did not respond back. She shoved my child’s drink in my hand and gave me a cup of water with no ice. When the food came out, she pushed the bag in my hand without a thank you or anything. All this over a statement I made and I was very polite about it. It used to be my favorite place because of the food, price and the employees were pleasant. This girl comes across unhappy and taking it out on others.
It was in the middle of September 2020is when I noticed a pattern of prices fluctuating up and down. I get a grilled cheese kids meal because they do not have it in a regular value meal. I get a Dilly Bar that comes with it. Some days the price is $4.69 and some days it is higher. One day I asked for a large cup of water. It was $.88. The next day I order a larger water again and the price was $3.68. I called to question the prices. I had to explain several times because the manager kept assuming that I had an issue with paying for water. My issue was the price difference a little over 24 hours. She finally understood and apologized. Of course I did not get the water the second time because of the price difference. Next time I came, I ordered a grilled cheese kids meal with a Dilly Bar. When I got home later that night, I noticed I was charged $6.24 for a meal that I usually pay $4.69 for. The next day, I requested for a manager. The manager was old. She was so focused on taking the blame off of them that she made every lame excuse possible. She said that I should have given them the Dilly Bar coupon. I explained that usually they take it off the bag themselves. She also said that I should have told the cashier that I did not want to pay for the Dilly Bar separate but wanted it with my kids meal. How would I have known when all this time, I was never asked by any cashier to choose that option. She said that the older workers do it but I have never been asked such things.
Next, we discussed the water situation. As usual, she was fixated on telling me that water is. Ot free. I explained that I do not mind paying for the water. I do mind paying $.88 one day and the next day told by the cashier that the price is $3.68. She said, “You should have talked to a manager.” I told her that is what I am doing with her now.
I explained that things should be very clear to the customers and prices should be steady. I do not eat beef. Their chicken sandwich had soggy bread and sloppy with a lot of Mayo and missing tomatoes thatI believe was supposed to be on the sandwich. I never complained before except when they forgot my fries. They made it right that time. It was because they had someone knew on the grill.
I told the manager that I am not seeking free food or my money back but I expect changes made where things are more clearer with the customers. Again, she blamed me for the cashiers not communicating. Two teenagers, once complained about being yelled at by a female customer and I told them that I sympathize with them. Now, I understand why although I do not condone disrespect. I always thank them at the speaker and the window. I am usually ignored or told, “yep.”
Some days customer service and the food is great and other days it is as everyone is having a bad day. I called customer service. I never received a phone call from management. Now, I know that I am not valued customer. I will discourage my friends, family and coworkers from...
Read moreThis DQ has a new building and the older dirty building was knocked down and rebuilt, (yes, the old one was kinda gross). On April 10th, my wife and I were watching a DQ commercial and decided to go to town specifically for two Blizzards. My wife got the Salted Caramel Truffle which was superb. There was a half or whole truffle in every bite. I decided to get my favorite, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard. I decided to pay attention to the road, (don't eat DQ ice cream and drive because brain freeze and driving is a deadly combo), and have my DQ delight at home 15 minutes away. I got home, popped it in the freezer for a few minutes and pulled it out to eat watching the fights.
I realized after 5 bites I hadn't had a piece of Reese's. I dug a bit to find a tasty morsel and low, there was not one Reese's Cup in the cup. There were a few flakes of Reese's on the bottom and it was similar to a weak peanut butter milkshake. Sadly, it wasn't a Blizzard but more like a dusting. It may have been served upside down but I wouldn't want a second like that one. I'm taking it back with my receipt and I'll see if their service after the sale increases my rating.
My wife did feel bad for me and shared her Salted Caramel, hard as that was... I only had a few bites because I didn't want to cut in on my wife's medium sized cup, ($4.29 @ 12 oz). I usually go in and get a log cake however, I got this at the drive thru at dark.
Follow-up,
The service after the sale was great and when I brought it in the manager stepped up and said, "yes you are right, would you like me to make you another?"

Read moreFor a more than a month now the same shift with the same manager has been getting my blizzard wrong. I thought it was standard procedure to make the ice cream the way it is supposed to be made. Why is it they always skip a step and I end up with a whole different ice cream and what happens when I complain to Paul the manager about my wasted money he is rude inconsiderate and dismissive as always. If it weren’t for the other managers doing such an amazing job that establishment wouldn’t be as great as it is the only reason I continue to go back is because they always get it right or make it right I’m sure they should be tired of me telling them how Paul’s shift messed up again . Maybe if he actually left and worked somewhere he enjoyed being he wouldn’t make the experience miserable for customers when he is around and this happens to me sooooo regularly it’s literally impossible I’m the only one… hopefully he eventually gets fired ( and I hate to wish that on anyone but he is that bad for the business everyone else such a pleasant experience to be around ,granted every human has there days) or at the least demoted and made to earn that position all over again so he appreciates it and actually cares if things are done correctly for a positive experience.. and this may seem like a lot for simply messing up something as simple as an ice cream but it’s about how much it happens so much that I...
