I’ve ordered from this company many times, but I’ve never actually had an issue or talked with somebody until today. I called the place because I haven’t gotten an update on my order. I ordered on this website by logging into my shop account with them. They claimed I didn’t use my email when I ordered, but I remember typing my email in and my email being present at checkout. Proof is in the picture below of my email being present when you go to checkout. The order also doesn’t show up on my account when logging into their website, so I called them about it.
They’ve also ignored my emails.
Keep in mind I’ve ordered from this place many times before, I’ve never talked with them prior. I was very surprised with how rude and unhelpful this place was. They claimed the package was shipped, but it was “out of their hands” and that if I never receive my package to “not contact them back because there’s nothing we can do.”
I also own a small business and there’s plenty you can do. They refused to contact their local post office, so I did so. I called the local post office it was apparently “shipped from” and the man told me that this item hasn’t been shipped. He said while it is possible it missed scanning via a pickup through a carrier, it would have been scanned and put into the system within 2-3 business days, especially in such a small town. He said that if they brought it to the post office, it would have been scanned into the system instantly. His verdict was that it was still “awaiting pickup” meaning the USPS hasn’t picked the item up yet.
The owners of this business said that calling them back wasn’t an option. I would just have to deal with the loss. I contacted my bank and will be filing a charge back immediately.
Be aware of this company. The owner is insanely rude as well. They thought I was rude because I was asking about where my package was at. I was...
Read moreEDITED to respond to another condescending response from this owner:
The fact that you never spoke to me speaks volumes. I think your customers need to know about how you will be treating them before they start spending money at your shop. Posting a review to reflect my experience with you is not a threat, it is my right to share my experience with others who may end up in the same situation. In addition, I am not the only customer that gave you poor review based on your rude behavior, just read the rest of the reviews here.
Lastly, your claim that your policy is in line with other shops is completely false- other shops offer store credit or a full refund within certain time frame.
Please do your research before you start these bogus and outrageous claims about how other shops run their classes and their shop policies. Hope this helps to clarify your cloudy perceptions.
Don't be fooled by "small town, small business "hospitality". I registered for a class, months in advance, when this class was first offered. I did not pay attention to their policy, which states that all classes are non refundable. No other shop in the DMV area and beyond has a policy like that. Plans change, there is no flexibility, no exceptions, not even for returning customers who spend money there. The owner is rude, in heavy accented, "bless your heart" kind of way where you feel you have been conned, but in a condescending kind of way. Luckily, there are a ton of other shops I am happily shopping at where owners treat customers with respect and are welcoming, kind and non condescending. I know pearls will be clutched while reading this - and I am being VERY kind and generous with this review. Please beware or better yet - avoid this place...
