We ordered 3 pizzas from here for my family to eat for dinner the day a family member passed away. The pizza took at least an hour and forty-five minutes to get to us (I can't remember exactly how long it was but my stepmom has the record of this on her phone) and then the driver had to call to find our address and then one of the pizzas was not as we ordered it. As in, they gave us the completely wrong pizza instead of one that we ordered. So we called to let them know and the guy was rude to my stepmom and she didn't even speak to him in an impolite way. We went into the store the next day to speak to a manager and he asked us what we wanted for the trouble. I think he ended up offering us a free pizza on our next order. I think he should've offered to refund or replace our whole order to be honest. He didn't indicate that he saw a customer with a legitimate and justified complaint standing in front of him, his dialogue and body language just seemed like we were yet another nuisance complaint against him and/or his business. So basically this review is just to share my experience with the employees and management and not of the food itself. If you are looking for delicious NY style pizza in Charles Town and Ranson, for delivery or pick-up, I fully endorse Andy's Pizza which is practically across the street from Pizza City. Pizza City needs to take some customer service courses. They're gonna lose money in the long run by not offering minor financial corrections for the orders they mess up, because people won't order from them or recommend them ever again. In case the owner or manager reads this our order was placed on 09/20/18 in the evening so you know who was working there that evening and the...
Read moreFirst time I ordered the Veggie Specialty pizza from this location it was delicious, they even gave us a military discount. Second time I ordered the same specialty pizza and when picking it up, my husband noticed the pizza was missing toppings. When asked about the missing toppings, they said they didn't have said toppings and doubled up on spinach.
We debated paying full price for an incomplete pizza and asked if they would apply a discount. They said they would but the total was higher than the previous time we purchased the same specialty pizza with all the toppings (and with a dollar off military discount), so we decided to walk away.
Debated about going back due to the poor customer service and dishonest business practices but decided to give them another try. When I called, I was informed that my number was blacklisted due to not purchasing an incomplete pizza my previous visit. The person on the line sounded upset that we refused the pizza and reminded us he had given us a dollar off during our first visit - yet didn't care the pizza we came to purchase did not have all the toppings as advertised.
Imagine you order a meat lovers specialty pizza and the pizza is missing pepperoni...would you pay full price for a specialty pizza that is incomplete?
Pizza City II you are unprofessional, lack ethical business practices, hold grudges, and lack humiltiy when you make mistakes. You not only lost me as a customer, but many others due to your...
Read moreOrdered here before and really liked it, ordered a steak and cheese pizza today and asked to substitute the Mayo for Alfredo sauce. Go to pick up the pizza and when I open it I see that the lettuce and tomato are missing from my pizza, so I call the store back and tell them my pizza is wrong, the man on the phone tells me that he just made what was on the ticket and I told him the pizza was supposed to have lettuce and tomato I read the description online, he tells me that they are out of tomato and if I want the lettuce I can come back to the store to pick it up and that he doesn't know what to say or what I want from them... Why couldn't they tell me when I ordered the pizza that they were out of tomato and why did the fact that they were out of tomato mean that my pizza wouldn't get lettuce either.. instead of offering to fix my pizza, I was told to waste my gas coming back to the store to fix it myself.. I'm sad that this is how they treat unhappy customers, but I'm really sad that I paid 23$ for toppings on a pizza that I didn't get. Really disappointed because I had a really good experience here the last time we ordered, I just can't believe that this is what they call customer service. I'd be happy to change my review if they would even attempt to make things right instead of being told "I don't know what to say, I don't know what...
