Went there on my lunch break. Two of my coworker were already there a few minutes before I got there. I came in to the bar where they were sitting and before I could, my coworker told the bartender I wanted “Shrimp Diablo”. The bartender said okay and laughed as I repeated “Yes I want the Shrimp Diablo”. I had a bottle of water with me and the bartender let me know I couldn’t bring it inside. I ordered a Modelo to go with my Shrimp Diablo and put the bottle of water in the car. About twenty minutes after I came back inside my coworkers began questioning where my food was. I had made a point to say, that by the time the food comes, I wouldn’t have a beverage left, and questioned why it would take so long to make shrimp. After 55 minutes I asked the bartender where My food was as she proceeded to say she never put it in. I asked her about three times just to make sure, and paid for my warm half drunken beer and no food. 5 minutes left of my lunch break on a 12 hour shift and I am not able to eat. There’s no reason I ordered my food and it was never put in as well as the reiteration of the order from my coworkers. If she truly did not put an order in at no point in time did she ask if what I was ordering and if I wanted food. Every bar I’ve ever sat at asks you what you want to order when you sit down. The only time you sit at a bar and are not asked if you want something is if you ordered already. This bartender never asked me anything and I am upset I even paid for the beer I only took a couple sips out of. Horrible bartender. She shouldn’t be in the service industry what so ever and she makes the entire establishment look unprofessional. Even after I asked three times if she put my food in she never apologized for not doing it or anything. Her customer...
Read moreThey have redeemed themselves. Went for cinco de mayo and the service was great as they have hired new wait staff. The mango margarita was to die for. They are back to the way I know them. Kudos. The food was fantastic.
This was my previous review.
This was my go to place. Emphasis on WAS…Tonight one of the more seasoned waitress (our waitress who served us was kind but new and asked others for approval) didn’t like us choosing a booth or own seating and then we were guided to a small table that can only fit 4 people but we were 6. The table could have hardly fit us and our potential order. The waitresses kept making snide remarks like you cant sit here it is only for 10 people but there were only 5 people there currently . She had a hint of hatred toward us and kept talking about us to our waitress. Totally bogus service. We had to get a manager involved for seating . Totally crazy for the first five minutes of the experience. We are vegetarian and our veggie bowl entree had a a small piece of chicken. We didn’t get an apology or what they are going to do to fix it. Nope …No sorry or apologies. . Additionally we specifically asked for cheese enchiladas with red sauce(they have a great red sauce ) but came with green sauce and we got the red sauce on the side after we had finished the dish. The food was good but the service (wrong entree, meat contaminated dish and zero empathy ) was grotesquely horrible for the price they want to charge. The menus have all the prices covered but you can find price via cellphone via QR Code. (I have come here many times but this was so horrible that I would not come again ever ) huge language barrier and no ethic of fixing things when...
Read moreThis place has gone incredibly down hill. It was good 5 years ago, but now we’re no longer returning. Not only did the prices skyrocket; the food is now bland. The tacos de carne asada is what I’ve always ordered for 5 consecutive years, and now it’s like they don’t season the meat anymore,
Not only that, when we ordered food for pick up here the last time and took a sip of the horchata when we got home, it was sour and very obviously tasted like spoilt milk.
We called right away and told them so that they no longer serve it to others. She didn’t believe us and when we told her to go grab a glass and try it her self, she says “hold on one second”, doesn’t put the phone on mute. So we hear her talking to her coworker in the background and her coworker says “oh yeah it does taste off”. Yet what does she do? She goes back on the phone with us and says “no it’s not, that’s just the taste of the cinnamon”.
This is what completely turned us off. How dare you serve expired food and try to gaslight us saying it’s not when you and your coworker clearly agreed in the background when you put the phone down/aside?
We can no longer support a business that operates this way.
They did not even apologize at all.
Be careful eating here as you might get food poisoning,
It’s one thing to serve bland food, or increase prices. But it’s another to be serving spoiled food, and to continue to serve it when you’ve already been made aware by a customer, and worst of all not apologize for it.
Disgusting behavior. I’d give 0...
