The Hummingbird Studio — Attraction in Raritan

Wow! Sarah and her team really knocked it out of the park making my daughter's birthday a special day!

My daughter had a very specific theme in mind for her crafty birthday party - she wanted to make miniature foods out of clay. Sarah not only was familiar with this idea, but had previously hosted a miniature bakery workshop and had everything that was needed. She provided all of the supplies, including an adorable assortment of miniature plates and bakery boxes to make the project complete.

Sarah was so flexible and willing to work with any theme, asking my daughter her favorite colors and using that to pick the tablecloths for the day. She knew just how much to guide the kids and where to let their creativity loose! Everyone made such adorable creations and seemed to have a great time.

From a parent perspective, this was the ideal party. Set up and clean up were so easy, because Sarah and her team had already decorated and set up a beautiful party table. All we had to do was show up with drinks, dessert, and order pizza from the shop a few doors down.

My daughter loved her birthday, and there was plenty of space inside the studio had we wanted to have an even larger group. Highly recommend The Hummingbird Studio for birthdays or a fun...

I had the privilege of attending both a private family session and the adult painting class with owner, Sarah, at The Hummingbird Studio last month. My husband and I brought our four children (ages 6-10) there to make end of year teacher gifts... and they also managed to sneak in some Father's Day creations, while my husband and I enjoyed a beer and some pizza in the studio's comfy and welcoming relaxation space. After a great experience with my family, I signed up for the adult painting class with some girlfriends. We had tapas and sipped wine, while channeling our inner artists. Sarah pushed us out of our comfort zones and spent time with each of us offering tips and inspiration. She never watched the clock and put no limits on our creativity, allowing us to use any materials we felt inclined to try. None of us wanted our night to end. I can't recommend this unique space enough. It's not your typical paint n sip or cookie cutter studio... you are literally stepping into the mind of an accomplished artist and venturing to become...

Sarah is amazing! She loves art and she loves her studio and it shines through in all she does!! She was fantastic to work with to plan a 2-hour unicorn/mermaid themed birthday party for my 8 year old daughter and nine of her friends! She went way above and beyond on all the details, pouring her heart and creativity into the crafts, cupcake decorating, and games! The cupcake decorating tray of supplies blew me and the guests away!! The girls (and moms) had a total blast!! We painted a unicorn canvas silhouette and painted a jewelry box. She had a great pizza recommendation as well that delivers right to the studio! It was a fantastic time, and easy planning experience with Sarah! The day of her assistant Christina was also great! So thankful to Sarah and Hummingbird Studio for a memorable and fun party!...
