3.5 stars from me which is just ok/average in my book. I ordered the Som Tum salad as my appetizer which is suppose to be a salad with papaya, green beans, peanuts, and tomatoes in a spicy lime juice. It was good, but definitely did not taste like it was described. I didn’t taste any Papaya, and the dressing was bland. The dressing wasn’t spicy at all, and it had no lime juice flavor either. It tasted more like a plain salad with peanuts. I love peanuts so I still thought it was good. For dinner I ordered the mango chicken. That was just ok/decent. The breading was soggy, and the sweet and sour mango sauce needed more Thai flavor. It could of used more sauce too to make it tastier. For dessert was the mousse cake which was good. The positives of this restaurant is you get a generous portion for a very reasonable price. The food all and all is ok. If you haven’t tried many Thai restaurants you would probably like it. It’s a good place if you live in the area from, but not a place I would go...

I was at the bookstore next to this place, and I saw this thai place. I adore thai food so I knew I had to go. I sat down and I could instantly appriciate the calm enviorment. It was very well decorated and the staff were so polite. One man even complemnted my hair, saying it looked like the beatles. (Im a boy with long hair so they must of thought I looked like John Lennon). They made me feel right at home, and thats not even the best part. The food was AMAZING. My sister got the duck noodles and I tried off of her plate, and I have got to say, It was delishous. I got the tamarind duck because I love the tamarind fruit, and It surpassed my expectations. It was so crispy, and the sauce was sweet, savory, and tangy. The pha ram that my mother got was so good too. Pha Ram is my favorite food and they made the best one ive ever had. Overall, great service, great vibe, AMAZING food. You should 100% check it out. Literaly some of the best food ive ever had in my life. I will 100% be...

I recently ate here for the first time upon the recommendation of online reviews and thought the experience was excellent. Upon entering, I was initially impressed by the nice decor and attentiveness of the waiters, a nice surprise given the humdrum strip mall exterior. The menu has a ton of variety, and I really encourage you to try something you've never had before. I think it's also important to vary the flavors you get in one sitting, which is why I was thrilled that they allowed my boyfriend and I to share entrees. The only complaint I have regarding the food is that they used canned pineapples. I'm not sure why, as we went during Spring/Summer when the fruit would be in season. There is nothing quite like fresh pineapple, and I always get it whenever I can, which is why I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, I thought the portion sizes and prices were very reasonable, and the food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and was...

7/9/21 Update : We get takeout from The Thai once a month but I think it's time to look for a new Thai place. The reason has nothing to do with the food (which is always good) but rather with price accuracy and the staff. The online menu prices are incorrect. The Beef Pad Thai and Beef Pad See Eue (online $9.95 / actual menu $13.95) and the Chicken Pad See Eue (online $9.95 / actual menu $12.95). An accurate online menu is not too much to ask for. Attached are pictures of the current/actual menus for your reference. But even more annoying is that the front desk woman was extremely abrupt/rude and has been on several occasions. 6/3/20 Update: The food is very good. But this is the second time in a row that they messed up my takeout order. 4/3/18 Update: Restaurant has been renamed "The Thai" but has the same ownership. Fast friendly service.

Food is good. I usually get the chicken or shrimp pad thai. Its one of the best pad thai I've had. The other place on prince rodgers tastes just as good too. Only issue I have with this restaurant is that its really expensive! Chicken pad thai for lunch is $14 and change! That's a ridiculous price! I can understand for dinner but $14 is astronomical for a dish that should cost no more than $10 for lunch! I've been coming here for years but it seems they now charge dinner prices on a Saturday afternoon. This will be my last time I come here. I can get the same dish a lot cheaper for lunch.

Popular lunch place located in convenient strip mall. Looks unassuming on the outside but decorated traditionally once you step in. Preset lunch menu though you could order dinner portions. Each comes with a salad with satay dressing. You can order based on spice level. Taste wise, pretty good authentic seasoning and garnishes. Would have liked chili paste vs red pepper flakes but pad thai had slight kick. Will need to come back again.
