Food is good, which should earn more stars than two. However, there is one employee there who skimps on the cream cheese. I asked her last week to just don't go so light on the cream cheese. I saw another employee ended up making my bagel and it was great. Today I went again. Got the cream cheese skimper again and asked again if she could just put a little more cream cheese than she usually does. She told me it would be $1 extra. I explained that I didn't want extra cream cheese from the norm, that she in particular just puts less on then the other employees. Thought maybe she would realize she was being skimpy. Nope. She charged me the extra $1, which I paid, but again explained to her the reason I asked was that she puts less cream cheese on than her co-workers. Just looked at the bagel and I just paid an extra $1 to get the same amount of cream cheese I would have normally gotten if another of the employees had prepared my bagel. Also, I have just read through other reviews and whole heartedly agree with the unfriendly staff comments, the difficulty in communicating, the being left on the phone forever when placing an order, etc. . I assume the owners have read these and have done nothing to fix the issues. I have been a long time customer (almost 20 years). We have gotten food for our staff meetings, etc from Bagels 4 U. I think I'd rather pay the fees and have bagels delivered from one of the MANY other bagel places in the area. Would not, and will not recommend Bagels 4 U to...

If I could give a zero I would. This is the third time I have tried to order a bagel from this place, and every time has been an awful experience. I first tried to place an order for pick up and waited on hold so long that I made it to the restaurant and made it to the front, while still being on hold; no one came back to the phone. This is the third time I have been left on hold, that’s if you can even get on the phone with anyone. After placing my order in person, and waiting an extremely long time, I had to go back up to the front and ask about my order which she had in the back, and expressed that “she had a lot of orders” as if this is a valid reason I never got my order. She reads back my order correctly, and I take the bagel. I get home to find the bagel is a mess; and not what I had ordered and pay for. Not to mention the ridiculous prices, this bagel was $10 and it’s not even what I ordered!!! I ordered a bacon egg on an everything bagel and expressed NO cheese twice. Below is the mess I got. Where do I begin with this place...

We put in a phone order halfway through they put the phone down. They wouldn't let us pay in person and forced us to give us the credit card over the phone. 30 minutes later we FINALLY had our order placed.

We arrive and get our order from the shelf, and on the receipt our order seems correct. We open the bag and see two bagels all wrapped, great let's take it home and eat.

We get home and BOTH bagels are incorrect and missing items. We paid over $20 for two bagels both to be wrong. We called about this and they told us to COME BACK and bring our bagels back and took another 15 minutes over the phone just to get our order. We were so fed up we just wanted a refund and to stop wasting our saturday, but the only way that we could do that is if we brought our wrong order back.

What type of restaurant makes you bring wrong orders back to get the right order, and refuses a refund? This establishment is way too money hungry to service their customers accordingly.
