Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Raymondville

I am terribly disappointed that this Pizza Hut did not offer great service as others do. My original order was an online order, but when I tried to modify it, I thought to myself; why not call the place and add another pizza to my order. When I called, the person answering the phone told me that I could not modify it, that I had to place another order and quickly hung up on me... So I did. (not very productive!)

Anyways, I placed a second order. When I picked up my pizza, the pizza was OK but my cookie was terribly burned: (see pictures attached). I would have returned it, but by the time I realized it we had already had dinner. It has been about an hour after I have picked up my carry out order.

I thought to myself, why not call them and ask them for another cookie. But, I think this has a greater effect when the Pizza Hut owner reads it online.

When we arrived (weekday, about 8:30pm), there weren't many people, so we were able to find a table right away. Music was playing and I wished the volume was a little lower, but it wasn't overly bothersome.

We enjoyed a good meal, but they were "out" of a few items on the menu... Hand tossed crusts and stuffed crusts... though the waitress made us aware of the "special" (large 2-topping pizza, $7.99).

I ordered a chicken alfredo pasta, and my sons had a pan pizza. Our meal was brought to our table quickly and piping hot! My pasta was lacking in flavor and my teen son thought the deep dish pizza tasted a bit heavy on the grease.

Our waitress was attentive and helpful. She came back to check on us several times.

I always place a curbside order to avoid going inside. The last two times I ordered the phone numbers either don’t work or it just rings forever. Today I decided to pick up inside. Although the food was hot and fresh and the restaurant was fairly clean, the guy making pizzas was not wearing a hair net or gloves! He had both bare hands down inside multiple toppings and making pizzas. I asked the manager if they had protocol to wear gloves for sanitary reasons and he said “only sometimes”.
