Rayne finally has a good donut shop! At the alternative location that's been there forever, the cinnamon glaze twists were the only things worth paying money for, and they were just ok.

At Rayne Donuts (same owner as Beas in Sulphur) everything I have tried so far has been good. Kolaches, glaze donut, chocolate donuts, breakfast burrito, sausage egg and cheese croissant, sausage egg and cheese biscut, and the cinnamon glaze twists. I used to have to go into Lafayette for good donuts, and while Crispy Donut on University is still a step ahead in my opinion, these are excellent as well, and I can finally stay local for a good donut.

Bread quality is good. Flavor is good. Price is reasonable. Atmosphere for a little donut shop is good. Location is good. The quality of their food is worth spending money on. I will be a regular...

For a brand new donut shop so close to home, they have plenty of potential and are already making a name for themselves. I know they just opened but I feel as if they could do more with the interior but they make up for it with the positive attitude the staff has. They are true to hours and have speedy service. Their food is amazing and not overly sweet with FANTASTIC coffee...
