Rayne finally has a good donut shop! At the alternative location that's been there forever, the cinnamon glaze twists were the only things worth paying money for, and they were just ok.
At Rayne Donuts (same owner as Beas in Sulphur) everything I have tried so far has been good. Kolaches, glaze donut, chocolate donuts, breakfast burrito, sausage egg and cheese croissant, sausage egg and cheese biscut, and the cinnamon glaze twists. I used to have to go into Lafayette for good donuts, and while Crispy Donut on University is still a step ahead in my opinion, these are excellent as well, and I can finally stay local for a good donut.
