I ordered 2 Tuna subs with chips for lunch through door dash delivery. I've ordered from this same restaurant before and I've experienced some glitches before but I decided to order anyway. After 1 hour my food had not arrived and I tried using the link that was sent and the driver was no where on the app. I called the store and spoke to the manager Nathaniel, he really seems like a nice guy and apologized and said that they have had a lot of problems with the Door Dash service. He said that the driver had sent a photo that said that the food was delivered but the photo showed a photo of a porch but no food. He agreed that it seems like the driver never delivered the order and he agreed to redo the order and deliver it ASAP. After another hour ( Now it has been 2 hours since my initial order and way past my lunch break ) the second driver arrived and tossed my food on the porch and ran. Once inside we opened the order and realized that my order was prepared incorrectly. I specifically said no lettuce or tomatoes and my sub was packed with lettuce and tomatoes. I also asked for provolone cheese and pickles and there was none. I also asked for Doritos chips and Fritos and we got two plain bags of Lay's Chips. I can't believe after a two hour wait that I didn't get anything that I wanted. It was a big disappointment. I was still charged full price and they even charged me the initial $5.00 tip for the delivery driver! He probably got a free lunch and paid for it. Unbelievable. I'm not totally mad. Nathaniel seems like a nice guy he tried to rectify the situation. Until they get rid of Door Dash I will order from this D'angelo's through take out or dine in only because my past experiences with them was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve ordered from here a couple of times and think that I may be taking my business elsewhere for my lunch break needs. I only work around the corner so it is convenient and affordable for me but I only get 30 minutes for lunch so I typically place my order online. I enjoy bacon and so I usually add it on and pay the extra and will always customize my sandwich otherwise. Both times Iāve placed an order they have forgotten the bacon and the sauce I requested (honey mustard) and in the first one there were tomatoes when I requested no tomatoes and this second one today was just missing the bacon and honey mustard. Last time I was quick enough to catch it however today I was in a rush to get back to the office and by the time I saw it I didnāt have enough time to go back and have them fix it. I normally donāt mind but I paid the extra $1 to add the bacon and especially when you havenāt eaten all day and know what to expect for your lunch itās a bit disappointing when that doesnāt come through. I will give them another chance as the staff is always very friendly but if it happens again I think I may need to find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust bought a pastrami sandwich, the Number 9 steak bomb, and an Italian sub for my family. They were genuinely some of the most disgusting sandwiches we have ever eaten. We shared the subs three ways, and we were not able to complete any of the sandwiches because they were so bad. Everything from the quality of the meat to the flavors was poor. The Italian sub was the only "acceptable" sandwich here, but the meat quality was so poor that it started to gross us out by the end. The pastrami was fatty and salty, and the number 9 was just gross in its entirety. The only somewhat redeeming quality of the place was that the people seemed fairly polite, and the building looked clean (but I came just before closing).
If you want a better sandwich, try Papa Ginos just across the street for less money (it is NOT the same thing). If you want a much better sandwich, go to Pizziolio just up the street for roughly the same cost.
Now I need to figure out what to actually...
