I called at 5:30 and asked to make a 6:15 reservation. I was surprised to hear that was no problem at all. I said it was my daughter’s 10th birthday (she chose to come here after coming for a valentines date with her dad). I told them that she was going to order a cannoli and asked them to sing Happy Birthday. We arrived early at 6:05. We stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before we were greeted. After another 5 minutes they took us to a table. I said “I called ahead under Erica”. After being sat, the server said she’d be right with us and another 15 minutes passed before she came back. We asked if we could place our order. My husband got a caesar salad and me a soup for apps. His salad came and my soup came 10 minutes later. (It also took 10 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine and two kids drinks). It was 35 minutes before we got our own water jug after she came by twice and said “i’ll be back with water”.

After we had our soup and salad she came back and said “do you want like grilled shrimp on your salad?” (I ordered caesar salad with shrimp which was a menu item). This showed me not only did she not know the menu bust also she had just sent our food when we had placed the order about 25 minutes before.

The food came and she followed up many times to see if we needed anything.

First time stopping in. Was hopeful it would be good based on the atmosphere but we were wrong unfortunately. They were clearly short staffed (prob not their fault) but we waited 25 min for a table even though there were multiple tables open. We ordered two apps; stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Calamari was decent but the mushrooms were terrible. Not what you would expect stuffed mushrooms to look or taste like. It wasn’t the traditional mushroom caps you get with all the goodies inside, it was literally sliced mushrooms they covered in breadcrumbs. I was disappointed with that. Salad was okay but the Italian dressing is what saved it. The coke tasted like robitussin and the sprite tasted funny as well. We waited over 30 min for our apps and everything was super slow. I understand they were short staffed but it took over 20 min for us to get our salads. The main dishes… my husband got the chicken parm. Sauce was watery and was very bland. I got the Chicken Equpasito (sp). They cooked it with wine and normally the alcohol cooks off but it tasted like I was drinking a glass of wine every time I took a bite of chicken. I had to blot my chicken to get the alcohol taste off. I’m pregnant and the last thing I need is to be drunk. Although, I could have used a glass of wine after this dinner to make it worth while. Very disappointed since this was our last date night before baby comes. In total, we were there for almost 3 hours because of wait time. I want to start by saying the staff at the bar were very attentive, and friendly. With that being said it was truly one of the worst experiences i’ve had in a restaurant. To start, the menu is tiny (one page, one sided, and the most basic entrees) They don’t have salad or soup on their menu. I ordered chicken broccoli alfredo, while my friend ordered chicken parmigiana. The entrees took over an hour to come out, and were terrible. My friends pasta came under cooked, and the pasta sauce tasted as if it came out of a jar. Further I was shocked to see a melted slice of cheese on top of their chicken. My alfredo similarly tasted very basic, and like a frozen meal. I truly believe they microwaved the dishes before they came out. The 2 stars come from the service, and the decent but overpriced drinks. My friend ordered a martini that came out in a normal cup with ice. Lastly the entrees came with a salad (not noted on the menu), and when we requested caesar they mentioned an up charge which I figure would be $2-$3 I was shocked to see it was $7 each salad, the salads themselves were not even worth $7.
