We ordered pizza at 5:58 p.m. and the tracker said it would be here in 45 to 55 minutes. An hour later it still wasn't here. We called to ask where our pizza was because the tracker said it was being delivered at 6:48. The girl answered the phone said our pizza would be here in about 15 minutes and that was at 7:00ish. Then around 7:30 our pizza still wasn't here. So we called back and they said our pizza would be here shortly that it was already out for delivery. So 7:45 came our pizza was still not here so we called them back they offered to give us a partial refund even though we spent $65 and left the driver and $8 tip. They told us our pizza would be here within the next 15 minutes again or they would give us a full refund. Then a rude young lady called me from Pizza hut at 7: 55 and told me my pizza just came out of the oven, and asked me if I still wanted my order. I tried to explain to her that I was sick and unable to speak on the phone and I would have get my husband to talk to her then she hung up on me. My pizza showed up about 10 minutes after that and it was cold. Not just a little cold but it was also soggy from sitting in the hot hold while it was hot and steaming hitting the cardboard box and bouncing back onto itself making every piece of dough wet and soggy. I have four kids here I am sick and my husband is at work. This was the worst Pizza hut experience I have ever had in my life. What made it worse was the girl lied to me and told me my pizza just came out of the oven. If my pizza just came out of the oven why is it soggy and not hot when it gets here. $65 is crazy for some hour late Pizza. Can you imagine for elementary school kids waiting 2 hours for pizza while their mother is sick. The customer service was horrible, nobody deserves to be hung up on or asked if they still want their order after they've been waiting for nearly 2 hours and lied to. This was at the Raytown Missouri location off of East 67th Street. it literally only takes 8 to 10 minutes to cook a pizza. if they knew that my order had been sitting in the hot hold for over an hour they should have refired me a pizza and brought me brand new pizza. They did not even care to make it up to me, it was easier for them to call me and ask me if I still wanted an order that had been sitting there for 2 hours and lie about it just coming out of the oven.if you're going to charge people $65 for some pizza at least have it be hot when it shows up. After several calls, they finally gave us a refund. But all I ask is you be honest about a delivery time. I don't mind waiting two hours if you tell me it's going to be 2 hours to begin with. My other problem is is why do I have to call you several times to check on my pizza why can't you just tell me the first time that we talked to you that you're running behind instead of giving me the runaround. Read moreSo, I ordered my pizza at 10:28 PM, it's now 12:07AM and I got my order at 12:00AM. My medium chicken/onion with BBQ is cold and there's so many onions on it (and I love onions) that my crust is soggy from the onion juice. I spent 28 minutes trying to get ahold of the store cause for over an hour it said "PREPARING" on their website. I kept getting sent to the call center, once I did get some girl to answer, but as soon as she found out why I was calling, she hung up on me. Finally I got the call center to do something and they contacted the store and got the ball rolling. But like I said, my order is cold. I don't know about the other pizza and the pasta cause I'm not the one in the house that ordered them, but damn people. Hire some adults, fire the kids and hire some delivery people! Hit the checkout, then it said it would be ready in 20 minutes, headed up to the location where the Pizza was supposed to be prepared at. And when I get there, they tell me that the order just came through. And then it's going to be 20. Additional more minutes. Don't even have the opportunity to talk to a manager at this store. It did not seem like one was available. The store seemed very short-staffed. Don't really know what else to say other than this is definitely poor poor service.
