Super disappointed in the customer service tonight, we probably wonât be back, we come from West Chester and have been for quite a few seasons now, Donnie Vonderharr was my grandmas cousin, so their is nostalgia and Iâd say a sense of loyalty in going however the service we got tonight was less than great and left a bad taste in our mouths. My son gets a peanut butter shake religiously, when he got it it looked like vanilla, tasted like vanilla and when we question the girl at the window was a little on the rude side assuring she added peanut butter. Generally itâs brown tonight it was Snow White. Instead of throwing it away I took it back up to the window and asked if they could correct it, I offered to pay for more peanut butter which she did charge me for and proceeded to give me a cup of peanut butter refusing to mix it up for him. There is definitely an inconsistency in shake making. We spent $40 and left a tip and left with no intent on coming back because of the lack of care...if the policy is nothing comes back a new one could...
   Read moreGreat little mom and pop style ice cream location. Its a walk up window building with 4 tables to sit at with a toddler sized table for smaller kids to sit at. Its usually pretty busy in the evening but they still get the food out pretty quick. Part of that is because they are well staffed. Speaking of which, the staff has always been kind and helpful. Parking can be a problem when a lot of people are there, but customers usually don't stay long after they have eaten. The window is wheelchair accessible and they accept credit card. I don't believe they have a public restroom, nor does the Vonderhars store...

Staff is also wildly friendly, but like not in a creepy way, but like a genuine way. It's very nice. I'll drive 20min out of the way just for some Don's....
